Carson Flores watched Armani Combs in silence, without uttering a word.
Armani Combs’s heart grew cold, and biting his teeth, he slapped himself hard on the face, then bowed deeply to Carson Flores.

Carson reacted swiftly, his heels digging in, his body rapidly changing direction mid-air, and he shot sideways, smacking the flying metal rod away, sending it crashing to the ground with a loud clang.
In that momentary distraction, Shane Fox had pulled another metal rod and sprinted off, after running a distance, he threw the rod in his hand once more.
This time, Carson was prepared and easily intercepted the metal rod, but Shane Fox had seized this opportunity to dash into the nearby emergency exit and escape towards the upper levels of the mall.
Carson didn’t pursue.
It was impossible for him to fight Shane Fox in the mall, and he was worried about other hidden enemies. If he left, and Samantha got hurt, it would have been a pointless loss.
"Get in the car, let’s go!"
Samantha Tate ran over quickly, jumped in the car, and Carson drove out of the underground parking garage at high speed.
After Carson left, Shane Fox crawled out of the passage, his face darkened.
