Philip Schneider’s words were shut down by Carson Flores with a single sentence, leaving his face the color of liver.
"Kid, you’re courting death!"
Philip Schneider, in a rage, charged directly at him, his hand open wide, reaching for Carson.
Carson chuckled, casually reaching out with a hand quick as lightning, grabbing Philip’s finger and neatly twisting it backward.
Philip’s body instantly tilted in the direction of Carson’s twist, his momentum gone, looking rather awkward and even a bit comical.
Lilly Compton was absolutely stunned.
Baylor Combs, who had been waiting to see a show, was stunned as well.
Grandmaster, that’s it?
Such a move can actually be used against a Grandmaster?
"Let go, let go! Kid, that’s a sneak attack!"
Fingers are intimately connected to the heart; unless Philip didn’t care about those fingers anymore, he had no way to resist.
The expressions on Lilly and Baylor’s faces were strange. You’re a Grandmaster, and you say that? Really, how can you have the nerve?
It was obviously you who struck first.
You act just like a street thug, claiming foul play and sneak attacks when someone gets the better of you. Don’t you have any shame?
But what shocked them even more was about to happen.
Carson actually let go of Philip’s hand, smiling, "Then let’s start over."
Philip looked at Carson in shock, his mind filled with suspicion. The kid looked so young, his strength couldn’t possibly be that terrifying, could it?
It must have been carelessness on my part.
Philip took a deep breath and attacked Carson again; this time, afraid of being caught by the quick hand move again, he chose to throw a punch instead.
You could catch my finger with your quick hand move, but try catching this punch.
I’ll blow you away with one punch!
This punch was delivered with all of Philip’s might. The quick move that Carson had demonstrated earlier had already made him realize that Carson was no ordinary opponent, and he feared another humiliating defeat if he held back.
Carson stretched out his hand, fingers wide, and caught Philip’s punch.
Philip’s punch, landing on Carson’s palm, was like a clay ox entering the sea. Other than causing a crisp blast of Gang Qi, it had no other effect.
If the previous finger twisting might have involved some opportunism, blocking his punch with one hand was pure, unadulterated strength, with no room for tricks.

Philip couldn’t hold it together anymore, he knew he had met his match today.
"My friend, you have good skills. There might have been some misunderstandings before, how about we straighten things out?"
As Philip spoke placatingly, he tried to pull his fist from Carson’s palm, but Carson’s fingers were like steel locks, holding firmly onto Philip’s fist without giving him the slightest chance to move.
"No need to straighten out, the matter was quite simple from the start."
Carson chuckled, and before Philip could react, Carson grabbed his hand, swung it forcefully, and Philip suddenly found himself flying through the air, then crashing heavily to the ground.
Philip was like a fish, lifted by its gills, then swung around and smashed onto the cold ground.
The cold ground instantly cracked like a spiderweb.
Although his Gang Qi protected his body from fatal injury from the fall, his head was buzzing.
He suddenly regretted it.
Why did he even get involved in this mess?
Carson released his grip and casually shook out his hand, not even sparing the prostrate Philip a glance as he turned to Lilly, "Let’s go."
Lilly shrank her neck a bit and scampered over to Carson’s side, looking docile as ever.
The two walked away leisurely from the hotel entrance while Baylor hurriedly went to aid Philip. "Elder Philip..."
Philip slapped Baylor across the face and spat out irritably, "This is all your fault!"
Baylor, covering his face, murmured in defense, "It’s all Lilly’s fault for bringing such a disaster upon us. We’re victims too."
Philip snorted coldly, "Tell your people to keep an eye on them; we’re heading back to the Sect."
Baylor’s eyes brightened, "Are we going to make a move?"
Philip responded with a cold hum, "We, the Timber Sect, call the shots in Dingburg. If we let him get away with battering someone, what face will we have left when we go out? I’m going back to ask the Sect Master to take action. We must reclaim the face we’ve lost!"
