Mary Jimenez spoke calmly, "Indeed, I have support, but this is my personal vendetta that stops with me. If you have the means, you can kill me, and no one will trouble you."
Tony Reid narrowed his eyes, sizing up Mary Jimenez, "So, you mean to say you’re quite the fighter? I heard you were just an ordinary person six months ago..."
Mary Jimenez nodded, "I’ll repeat it: I’m here to kill Oscar Miller. If you understand the grievances between him and me, you’ll know I have no intention of making enemies with the Reid Family. But if the Reid Family insists on protecting Oscar Miller, on fighting with me, you will bear the consequences!"
Tony Reid stroked his beard with a cold laugh, "Although you’re young, you don’t lack spirit. Oscar Miller is just a son-in-law of the Reid Family—we don’t care much about his life or death. But since you’ve slapped the Reid Family’s face, this old man will have to deal with it."
Mary Jimenez turned to look at Oscar Miller, her voice as calm as ever, "I’m going to kill Oscar Miller now. Whoever stops me, I’ll kill them!"
Alberto Reid laughed in anger, "Well then, I’d like to see how you plan to kill him today!"
Mary Jimenez stepped directly toward Oscar Miller.

As she pointed out with her finger, the space around seemed to momentarily concave towards her fingertips. At that moment, those slender, beautiful fingers no longer appeared to be part of a hand but an irresistible sword of unparalleled majesty.
Alberto Reid’s face changed drastically, pupils dilating with a flicker of alarm in his eyes.
He stepped back, trying to create distance, but the seemingly slow thrust of her finger didn’t lose proximity despite his retreat, growing ever closer instead.
Unable to back away any further, Alberto Reid had no choice but to let out a low shout and throw a punch.
With that punch, Gang Qi surged like a torrent, filling the surrounding space.
The Gang Qi raged like a furious torrent towards Mary Jimenez’s slender finger, but the two delicate fingers, like a sharp sword, pierced through the wave, split it, and then harshly struck Alberto Reid’s fist.
