Standing in the air, Carson Flores took out the bone flute and blew into it forcefully. The sound traveled far and wide into the wilderness.
After a few notes, a huge figure leaped up from within the forest and rushed towards Carson Flores, an aura of might surrounding it.
Seeing this, Josy was immediately startled, "Run! You’re no match for it!"
Carson Flores just smiled without saying a word. While Josy was very nervous, the Snow Dragon Leopard King had already landed in front of Carson Flores, excitedly growling at him.
Carson Flores smiled and took out a string of spirit fruit from the space ring, tossing it over.
The Snow Dragon Leopard King caught it in its mouth, looking pleased.
Josy, with her head out of the pocket, was completely shocked and speechless.
This was a Nascent Soul Stage monster beast, acting like a begging puppy, and the one it begged from was merely a Golden Core Initial Stage cultivator.
This was utterly ludicrous.
Carson Flores took out the Water-Fire Mirror with a smile and said teasingly, "I’ll recharge some energy. Come on, spray me with it."
The Snow Dragon Leopard King had previously helped Carson Flores recharge, and now it was well-practiced. Without hesitation, it unleashed its incredibly cold ice storm breath towards him.
Josy watched, stunned.
Were this man and beast friends, or were they conducting a transaction?
She saw it clearly; the Snow Dragon Leopard King was charging the mirror with spiritual energy, and her sharp eyes spotted the metal tag hanging around its neck.
Could this beast understand human speech, had it been tamed?
After the Snow Dragon Leopard King’s efforts, it lay panting. Carson Flores tossed a few more spiritual medicines to it as a reward, a sight that made Josy immensely jealous.
Her master was truly generous!
The spiritual medicines were being tossed out as if they cost him nothing, how could he have so many?
Carson Flores spent a day on Snow Peak, filling the Water-Fire Mirror with energy once again.
"I’m leaving now. Do you want to come with me?"
The Snow Dragon Leopard King hesitated, then shook its head.
Carson Flores didn’t press the matter, knowing that the Snow Dragon Leopard King was adapted to the ice and snow. Leaving such an environment might not be comfortable for it, and it was used to freedom, so living in human habitats would likely not be suitable.
Carson Flores left a pile of spiritual medicine for the Snow Dragon Leopard King and, under its complex gaze, flew away.
Josy couldn’t help asking, "How do you have so many spiritual medicines? Doesn’t it hurt you to give away so many?"
Carson Flores chuckled, "I told you, I’m not short of spiritual medicine. Plus, he really helped me out. Otherwise, when I met you, you’d have killed me."
Josy pouted, her expression ambivalent.
Carson Flores headed back to the entrance of the Secret Realm. Along the way, he found more high-quality spiritual medicines, which he gathered and ripened.
"What treasure do you have?"
Carson Flores laughed, "That’s my secret. You must keep it confidential, otherwise, I’ll have no choice but to kill you."
Josy wasn’t scared but instead was incredibly excited, "As long as you provide me with enough spiritual medicine to grow my body quickly, I can regain my Nascent Soul strength!"
Carson Flores smiled, "Still think it’s a bad deal to follow me?"
"Not at all! Not at all!"
Josy’s youthful face beamed with excitement, "With such a divine tool, I not only can regain my Nascent Soul strength, but I can even break through further!"
Carson Flores reassured, "I’ve said it before, if you help me out well, I won’t shortchange you."
Josy pledged earnestly, her eyes devoid of any resentment, "You’re my master. If you die, I can’t live either. I will protect you with my life!"
Carson Flores returned to the entrance and left the Secret Realm.
Instead of heading towards his cave dwelling, he flew directly on his sword towards the Thousand Swords Sect.
At the entrance of the Thousand Swords Sect, Carson Flores was stopped by a disciple guarding the gate, "Who goes there?"
Carson Flores bowed with a fist, "Disciple Carson Flores from the Flying Waterfall Mountain Peak, returning the remains of Thousand Swords Sect Elder Alex Austin."
The disciple’s expression changed, "Please wait a moment."
Shortly, the disciple received instructions and stepped aside to welcome him, "Please, this way!"
Carson Flores followed the disciple, moving upwards until they reached a grand hall with equally imposing characters written above.

As Carson Flores entered, he found that there were many people already inside the hall, and sitting in a prominent position was none other than the Sect Master of the Thousand Swords Sect, Molly Greer.
"Disciple Carson Flores from the Flying Waterfall Mountain Peak, at your service, Sect Master Greer!"
Molly Greer was burly and imposing. She waved her hand and spoke in a deep voice, "You have found the remains of Elder Alex Austin?"
Carson Flores nodded and produced the space ring that belonged to Elder Alex.
Molly Greer motioned with her hand, took the space ring, scanned it with her divine sense, and pulled out the jade slip. After a moment, she sighed, "Call Alex’s family over."
