The vines parted, revealing Carson Flores, who had been protected in the very center.
Mathias Combs endured the intense pain, "Mr. Flores, I was blinded by ignorance. I was wrong, please spare me. I am willing to redeem my life."
Carson Flores laughed, "No rush, let’s first talk about this guy’s situation. After all, he’s given me so much, and I still don’t know how to address him. That’s quite impolite of me."

Blake Gibbs glared fiercely at Carson Flores, "If you release me now, I can pretend this never happened. Otherwise, my master won’t let you get away with this; you will die a miserable death..."
The words of Blake Gibbs weren’t even finished when a vine struck directly across his face like a whip.
A clear whip mark appeared instantly on Blake Gibbs’s face, and blood seeped from the corner of his mouth.
The cold voice of Josy echoed in the air, "A mere disciple of an elder from the Immortal Beast Sect, and you dare to utter such wild words. You truly do not know the meaning of the word ’death’."
Fabian Vasquez’s brow twitched as he stood by. Upon engaging, he knew Carson Flores’s background was extraordinary. Could an ordinary disciple possess the Water-Fire Mirror and have two magical beasts for protection?
