Lanying scoffed and said, “I shouldn’t starve because the owner of the house is not around right? Or are you going to bully me because no one is here to keep a tight watch on you?”
The housekeeper smiled and said to the servant now standing at the side, “You will take care of her meals today. Give her what the rest of the family had for breakfast, and during lunch, you can give her a bowl of rice, a bowl of soup, and 2 side dishes. But if she would prefer noodles, get it ready for her.”
After giving out the instructions, the housekeeper turned around to leave, but Lanying’s next words stopped her in her tracks.
”Do I look like a beggar for you not to give me a full course meal for lunch?”
”For disobeying the household rules, you should be starved for a whole day and your salary cut if you are receiving any, but I’m surprised that no one punished you for that.” The housekeeper replied.
Lanying slapped her hands on the table and said, “How dare you?! I was made to delete a part of my life’s achievement, and you stand there and tell me that I wasn’t punished?!”
Lanying was fuming mad and her glares were ready to burn a hole through the housekeeper’s head if it had that power.
”That was a punishment for keeping a blog like that, that revealed confidential information of the family members. You were not punished for breaking the rules of taking photos inside the house, least alone, that of a family member.”
After saying that to her, the housekeeper smiled and left.
Truly, Lanying was not punished for going against the family rules. She was only punished for the blog she kept.
But Lanying thought otherwise. She was so angry with the housekeeper and felt like hitting her right face, but she was powerless in that area and could only grit her teeth and watched as she walked away.
Anyway, even if she had that power, she couldn’t do as she wished. After all, she was on the Fu family’s grounds.
Lanying was angry, but most importantly sue was very hungry, so she had to ask for her breakfast to be brought to her.
She couldn’t believe that the entire family has a light breakfast before leaving. She could only eat after sneering.
At the church where the wedding was taking place, the fu family members all stepped out of the car and walked into the church to join the family of the groom.
As for Jasmine, she stayed behind with FangSu and Meixu.
Before going into the church, Shi Qiao and Meixu met briefly.
”I can’t believe that you would look so gorgeous on this day.” Shi Qiao said in admiration.
The way he was looking at Meixu was filled with love as if he couldn’t wait for the ceremony to be over so he can spend time with her.
”I have always looked good and of course, it will be normal to look even better this day,” Meixu said with a confident smile.
”You are right, you have always looked beautiful.” Shi Qiao said before leaning in suddenly to steal a quick kiss from her lips.
Before Meixu could push him, he had already stepped back with his hands raised. “We will continue tonight after the wedding party,” He said with a wink before turning to walk away.
Meixu chuckled softly as she watched him walk away.
Some minutes later, it was time for the Wedding match.
Shi Qiao walked in first as a wedding song played for him. Next, Jasmine went on. The little girl had learned from her Aunt Su how she should walk in, and she did that gracefully.
Jasmine received applause from both families. The little girl looked so cute and couldn’t be ignored.
At that moment, Jia Li and Fu Hua felt very proud of their baby daughter.
Meixu was the last to walk in with her father. There was a small smile playing on her lips as she walked in with her gaze on Shi Qiao who was already waiting for her at the altar.
Both families got to their feet with their gazes on the beautiful bride as she made her way in. Once she got to the altar and her father, Fu Geming shook hands with Shi Qiao, there was a round of applause for them.
Because of how Meixu wanted her wedding to be, only both families were present in the church for the vows.
Finally, Meixu and Shi Qiao exchanged rings and were declared husband and wife in front of their families.
Two hours later, the wedding moved from the church to the wedding venue where most of the wedding guests were already sitting and waiting for them.
There were about 200 hundred guests present for the wedding, and music was already playing with some light refreshments served to the guests.
After three hours long of wedding celebration, the event came to an end with the couples giving a vote of thanks to their families and friends who were present to partake in their joy.
When the guests started to leave, FangSu went to whisper some words to Meixu’s ears.
”When are you moving out completely from the house so I can help you send your things over?”
Fu Meixu scoffed and said to her, “I thought you had something important to say. Don’t touch my things, while I’m away.”
A smile hung on FangSu’s face as she said, “My words are very important. If you ever need help sending your things to you, I am here.”
Meixu looked away from her and said in a low voice, “Keep your eyes on that girl, I will be back soon.”
FangSu looked confused as she asked, “What are you coming back for? To visit?” But Meixu do not reply to her, and instead, went off to greet a guest.
FangSu didn’t dwell much on her words and went to go find her fiance Zhang Junjie whole she abandoned to go make fun of Meixu.
