Everyone was tired after the wedding, but it would be too early to retire because some guests were also trooping into the Fu family house to continue with the after-party.
Fu Hee was ready for another grand reception, so the kitchen was already prepared with different mouth-watering dishes to soothe everyone’s palate.
This was one of the reasons Lanying asked the servant to bring every dish they had prepared because she knew that there was such a grand gesture.
Finally, at night, everyone got to have a good night’s sleep, except for the newlywed couples who had fun until dawn.

The next morning, Meixu’s wedding appeared on the cover page of many newspapers. Bloggers carried the news of her surprise wedding.
Some speculated if it was a shotgun wedding because f the secrecy. Some wondered if the wedding was true because they could not believe that Meixu would keep such a secret.
Those thinking that Meixu had a shotgun wedding, hit their answers two days later when Meixu and Shi Qiao posted a picture of them at the beach.
The two love birds were on their honeymoon, and almost ruining every single day of it, for the singles.
Spreading their love on the internet, was like a bite to the singles nation, and an itch for them to get married.
In everything that was going on, no one remembered the blog belonging to Lanying, spider. No one remembered that the blog had once predicted that a piece of good news would be coming from the Fu family.
This irritated Lanying a lot that she couldn’t help cursing. “Am I that invisible?”
It was as if no matter what she did, she would never be recognized. Her heart felt so painful that she felt like bursting into tears, but she couldn’t.
She promised that she was not going to shed another tear, and it looks like she was living up to her promise.
Meixu’s wedding was done and dusted, now, Jia Li could get plenty of rest.
She felt lucky that she didn’t have to struggle with her little daughter in order to get the clothes off her body.
Jia Li had to do this herself because of how persistent Jasmine could be. She has in mind to call her father over if she was refused, but luckily, she didn’t have to sweat it this time around.
When Jia Li returned to her bedroom, Fu Hua was already lying in bed and gazing at her with a big smile on his face.
Jia Li pouted and said as she got into bed, “I just hope that you are not getting any funny ideas this night. Your wife is exhausted, I don’t even have the energy for a massage, I just want to lay on the ned and close my eyes.”
”Don’t think too much, even I am tired, but not to your level. I’m in a good mood because I want to ask when we are going for the doctor’s appointment for the ultrasound scan?” Fu Hua seemed to be excited as he threw that question.
He looked a bit impatient, or more expectant.
From his response, there was no need to panic, so Jia li turned her body over and fixed her gaze on him.
”I was thinking about going tomorrow, but I just want to rest all through tomorrow. My muscles are weak, and I would be needing to go to the spa, so maybe in two days?”
”No, that’s far. Don’t worry, I promise you would get a premium treatment from me tomorrow. We will rest all through, but towards evening, we would go to the doctor.” Fu Hua said.
Two days? That was very far. If it wasn’t so late already, and if she was not so exhausted, he would have taken her to the hospital already.
Jia Li stared right into his eyes without saying anything, and that made Fu Hua think that she was getting the wrong idea, so he quickly explained.
”I promise, I’m not going to cross the line. I won’t touch you or arouse you. This is my promise to you.”
A faint smile appeared on Jia Li’s lips as she went into his arms and said with her eyes closed, “You can’t wait to meet your child, can you?”
Fu Hua embraced her and said, “You are right, I am impatient.”
Meeting his child that Jia Li was talking about, was through the scan. At least, thru would get to see their baby and see its growth in the last few weeks.
Jia Li smiled even more and agreed to his pleadings. They were going to the hospital tomorrow to see their baby.
Fu Hua was elated and could finally fall asleep in peace.
The next day, Fu Hua treated Jia Li like an empress. He served her with everything she needed and didn’t let her do a thing apart from bathing herself and continuing with her collections project.
Even when his cute little princess wanted her mother’s attention, Fu Hua didn’t let her.
Towards evening, Fu Hua notified his mother of their destination, before leaving with Jia Li and Jasmine.
Fu Hua wanted the little girl to witness a good moment, and be a part of the process of her younger one’s existence in the world, so he let her come with them.
At the hospital, the family of three didn’t have to wait for long before they were called into the doctor’s office.
They had booked an appointment before, so they were right on time.
