Chapter 51: Chapter 51 Almost Fully Exposed
Gu Ya’s voice came from outside the door.
Su Yunjin’s heart tightened.
Instinctively, she looked towards the direction of the door. How did Gu Ya come back so soon?
Fortunately, she had locked the door ahead of time.
Otherwise, her current state would have been completely exposed to Gu Ya, and that would have been odd indeed.

Having said that, Su Yunjin quickly heard footsteps receding outside, and knowing Gu Ya had left, she immediately let out a sigh of relief.
Su Yunjin’s body wasn’t too dirty, it was just that after falling into the water a few days ago, there was a mix of medicinal and sweat odors on her. After a quick rinse to wash off the sweat and medicinal smells, Su Yunjin had no intention of soaking for long and got out of the bathtub to change into the clean clothes she had prepared beside her.
After bathing, Su Yunjin felt much more comfortable. Looking at the tub of used bathwater in the room, she found a wooden bucket, planning to use it to carry out and dispose of the water she had used.
Just as Su Yunjin was about to carry out a bucket of water, Gu Ya’s large hand suddenly appeared in front of her and took the bucket, “Yunjin, let me do it. You rest.”
Su Yunjin looked up at Gu Ya and saw that he had changed into a fresh set of clothes, his body emitting a pleasant scent of soapberry, which clearly indicated he had also taken a bath.
“Have you also bathed?” Su Yunjin asked Gu Ya.
Gu Ya nodded, “Yes, while you were bathing, I went to the woodshed and had a wash.”
Gu Ya had been sleeping in the woodshed before, where not only was his bathing tub but also his change of clothes. While the young wife was bathing inside, Gu Ya also simply took the opportunity to wash himself in the woodshed.
During their conversation, Gu Ya carried the bucket of bathwater Su Yunjin had scooped out and walked out towards the door.
Su Yunjin stood there watching Gu Ya carry the water bucket out. Since Gu Ya was taking care of disposing the water, she was happy to relax and didn’t argue with him. Soon, the bucket of bathwater was completely taken out and disposed of by Gu Ya.
Su Yunjin sat at the table drinking her medicine, which Gu Ya had brought her after disposing of the water. Having just taken a couple of sips, Su Yunjin saw Gu Ya calling out towards the door, “Mother!” Following Gu Ya’s gaze to the entrance, she saw Mrs. An walking in from outside.
“Mother, you’ve come? Please, have a seat!” Su Yunjin got up to greet Mrs. An, who didn’t sit down but instead asked Su Yunjin, “How is it? Yunjin, is your husband’s injury alright?”
After looking at Gu Ya, Su Yunjin said to Mrs. An, “Mother, I have already applied the medicine for my husband. It’s alright. The swelling on his shoulder should subside in a couple of days!”
“That’s good to hear! I am relieved now.” Mrs. An had just passed by Gu Ya and Su Yunjin’s room and stopped by to check on them. Hearing that Gu Ya’s injury was not serious, Mrs. An instructed Su Yunjin and her husband to rest early and then left.
Su Yunjin watched Mrs. An leave, but when she turned around, she found Gu Ya was still staring at her, and it seemed like he had been doing so for a while now.
