Xiu Jianlin’s lips pressed tightly in discomfort.

The searing pain on his neck, combined with Liu Mei’s threats, seemed to snap Xiu Jianlin into clarity. He dared not say anything and just averted his gaze, unable to meet the eyes of the Ruanlin Family.
His reaction left the Ruanlin Family with no illusions.
Even though she had expected this outcome, hoping it would come to this, she still felt heartless for Xiu Xi, the child in question.
Such a good child, how did he end up with such a father? It was truly sinful!
