He tilted his little head and asked: “Jiaojiao, how come you and Big Brother came back together? Is Big Brother coming to visit our home?”
The man was reminded of how Gu Jiao had acted similarly just earlier. This was indeed a family, even their gestures and actions were so alike.
Gu Jiao ruffled his little head, saying: “Big Brother just happened to pass by.”
“Oh!” Little Jing Kong pondered for a bit, then moved a step towards the doorway, saying, “Then I’ll talk to Big Brother for a bit!”
“Alright.” Gu Jiao pretended not to notice the item hidden in his hands.
After Gu Jiao entered the house, the man asked Little Jing Kong: “What are you hiding in your hand?”
Little Jing Kong took the little box from behind his back and whispered: “Jiaojiao’s birthday is coming up, I’m preparing a surprise gift for her! This is the first birthday that I’m spending with Jiaojiao, I want to give her a surprise!”

Unexpectedly, the man was not annoyed and found the child very adorable instead.

“What happened?” the man asked.
