Although the airplane offers everything one might need, there are still certain limitations, and for some reason, every time Ji Niandong travels, she feels sleepy despite doing nothing.
After the afternoon meal, Ji Niandong took a bath and lay down. Lu Beichen lay beside her and said, "Go to sleep early, a ten-hour flight is surely tiring, and after a sleep, we’ll arrive tomorrow! Wear these earplugs so you won’t have a ringing in your ears!"
"Okay!" she responded, turned over, embraced his waist, and closed her eyes, feeling at peace.
Lu Beichen chuckled softly, reached out to help her with the earplugs, and then turned off the light!
Her long hair spread over the pillow, glimmering faintly; she lay beside him like a fairy, and Lu Beichen couldn’t resist kissing her forehead, "Goodnight, Mrs. Lu!"
"Goodnight, Little Uncle!" Her voice was full of fatigue, she truly was tired!
Lu Beichen gently patted her back, coaxing her to sleep as one would with a child, until he himself fell asleep too.
Just as Lu Beichen said, they arrived in Switzerland after a nap!
This sleep was long and restful; truly, letting go of everything and relaxing with him was steady and carefree!
Due to the time difference, it was still around one in the afternoon here in Switzerland!
Ji Niandong felt great, well-rested and full of energy!
The black-clad driver drove them directly to Interlaken, and along the way, they could see uniquely charming cottages that looked like scenes from Disney animations.
The lush green trees and grass connected with snowy mountains, cottages interspersed, truly picturesque!
Ji Niandong excitedly took out her camera and kept snapping photos, her entire being in high spirits, while Lu Beichen handed her a down jacket with gloves and a hat, "Quickly put them on, although the car has heating, it’s still cold!"
She was so caught up in her enjoyment that she paid no mind, so Lu Beichen had no choice but to directly put her hand in the sleeves, and each time he pulled one, she would grab her camera with the other hand, never missing the scenery outside the window.
Finally, after a playful struggle, she was properly dressed, just like dressing a child!
The car quickly arrived at their lodge!
It looked like a guesthouse, but the house was exceptionally large, resembling a fairytale castle!
As soon as they got out of the car, people inside came out to greet them, speaking a language that did not seem like English, which Ji Niandong completely could not understand!
However, Lu Beichen fluently conversed with them, then followed them inside.
Though it was a guesthouse, it featured very typical Western architecture, and the interior decorations were of an ancient European style, with warm yellow lights creating a cozy, comfortable feeling throughout.
Upon entering the room, Ji Niandong couldn’t resist spinning around, imagining herself as a princess living in an ancient castle!
"Little Uncle, this place is so beautiful, I love it here!" She spun around beside him, utterly lost in her excitement.
Lu Beichen took off his coat and pulled her into his arms as he helped her remove her down jacket, "It’s so warm inside, yet you didn’t think to take off your coat!"
"No, no, no, Little Uncle, why take off our coats? It’s so beautiful outside, let’s go out! After all, we’ve slept enough on the airplane, why stay in the room to sleep more?" She held onto him, full of anticipation!
Lu Beichen chuckled, "It seems my Mrs. Lu really likes it here!"
"Yes, yes, yes!" she nodded enthusiastically, "I adore it!"
Seeing her so happy, Lu Beichen put his coat back on, donned a down jacket, and, looking like they were in couples’ attire, went over to help her with her scarf, then held her hand to lead her outside.
The two black-clad companions were still guarding the door, and Lu Beichen walked straight over and asked, "Is everything set?"
