Ji Niandong was most vulnerable to his kind of look. As she was about to speak to Lu Beichen, she saw Lu Beiyao and Li Siru approaching.
He walked over with a somber face, his eyebrows pressed low, and his tall, sleek appearance looked quite stylish. Though he lacked a bit of the aristocratic air compared to Lu Beichen, he was handsome and appealing.
Following him quietly was Li Siru, with her innocent eyes appearing very obedient.
Lu Beiyao approached with a smile at the corner of his mouth, saying, "Second brother and sister-in-law are back? We’ve been waiting for quite a while. Are we going to eat now? Let’s go together?"

Lu Beichen nodded to give him face, also giving him a way out.
Sending over his son for no apparent reason was not just for a couple’s relaxation; Tu Meijiao was eager to hold a grandson.

The family walked into the restaurant, sitting together. Tu Yingying was particularly excited, her eyes never leaving Lu Beichen.
She saw him being gentle and courteous to Ji Niandong the entire time, feeling both envy and jealousy!
Beside them, Little Bun also gritted his teeth, wishing he could sit between them!
The meal was somewhat awkward, so it ended quickly.
Putting down his knife and fork, Lu Beiyao looked down and said to Li Siru, "You accompany Tongtong to relax a bit, I have something to discuss with Beichen!"
Upon hearing this, Ji Niandong wisely cooperated, standing up and saying, "Sister-in-law, let’s go outside and check out the view. I noticed earlier that it was quite nice!"
"Sister Tongtong, take me with you!" Lu Sinian was the first to raise his hand to go along.

Tu Yingying snorted, sat in the neighboring restaurant, and looked at the men through the glass window.
Ji Niandong, leading Lu Sinian out, said, "It’s not early, aren’t you going to rest? Besides, it’s really cold outside!"
"How cold!" Lu Sinian, recalling the cold as he got out of the car, couldn’t help but shrug his shoulders, "Then Sister Tongtong, you and aunt go out, remember to come to my room. I live in a big room alone!"
"Hmm! I’ll definitely come!" She pointed her index finger at his forehead, and Little Bun finally jumped back to his room satisfied.
Ji Niandong turned and said, "Sister-in-law, do you want an extra coat?"
"No need!" Li Siru showed a faint smile, "Maybe feeling cold will help clear the mind a bit!"
"Then let me hold onto you! It’ll be warmer this way!" Ji Niandong stepped forward, took her arm, and led her outside. Li Siru was visibly startled, then followed her out.
The night lights sparkled. Despite the chill, the view looked exceptionally warm.
Ji Niandong exhaled, breaking the awkward silence by asking, "How long have you and brother been married?"
Li Siru raised her head, her breath visible even at night, "Three years!" She turned to look at Ji Niandong, "Do you think three years is long enough or, or too short?"
