After leaving the hospital cafeteria, she walked aimlessly in the rain, holding an umbrella, thinking only of her sweet memories with Xia Ye Zhao.

Xia Ye Zhao stopped her: “What do you need to buy? I can get it for you. Just bring the food upstairs.”
Buying other things was fine, but for this particular item, Ye Xingguang couldn’t ask him. She insisted on buying it herself.
Xia Ye Zhao couldn’t persuade her, so he bent down in front of her: “Get on, I’ll give you a piggyback ride.”
“That’s not necessary.” She wasn’t sure how to handle her brother’s enthusiasm.
But Xia Ye Zhao didn’t give her a chance to refuse. He grabbed her arm and hoisted her onto his back.
“Really, there’s no need. I can manage. And, I’m not Xia Qiongqiong.”
“I have my own judgment on that. Otherwise, I’ll remove your shoes now and drop you in the rain to prove it.”
Ye Xingguang was instantly scared.
What if her brother, to verify her identity, really threw her into the water…

Once Xia Ye Zhao felt her settled down, he reassured her: “I won’t toss you into the rain.”
He knew how much his sister hated having people see her tail because it didn’t look good. He understood girls liked to look pretty and didn’t want to actually scare her.
