A pirate nonchalantly slung his gun over his shoulder, a cigarette hanging from his mouth. He squinted at Ye Xingguang who was on the small yacht, took two puffs and spat the cigarette butt into the sea. He threw back his head and guffawed, “Brothers, what did you hear just now?”
“Haha, she said she was going to rob us!”
A few bandits on the speeding boats rolled with laughter.
Then, the direction of the speedboat shifted. In no time at all, seven or eight speedboats had surrounded Ye Xingguang’s yacht in a rapid ballet.
All the pirates were whistling, causing a ruckus. It was pandemonium.
“Who would’ve guessed that not only did we hijack two big fish today, but we also encountered a stunning beauty who wants to rob us!”
“Brothers, we’re in luck today. This girl is a sight for sore eyes. If we take her back for our boss as his bride, we’d not be doing him a disservice. Boss, wouldn’t you agree?”
The leader of the pirates wore a vintage hat. He adjusted the brim slightly, toying with his chin in silence, a smile playing on his lips.
“Heh …” Ye Xingguang simply smiled silently.
However, her nonchalant smile amidst being surrounded by a group of pirates, as though looking down on a bunch of ants, hit a nerve among the pirates.
A pirate muttered, “Damn!” and steered his speedboat closer to Ye Xingguang’s yacht, saying, “Boss, let me bring this pretty little thing to you. Have your fill of fun!”
The pirate leader could tell Ye Xingguang’s laugh was laced with contempt and derision. He didn’t stop his henchman, already plotting how to enjoy this unexpected joy when she was captured and brought before him.
But before the pirate on the speedboat could board Ye Xingguang’s yacht, she lifted her leg and with one swift kick, sent him splashing into the sea.
However, the rest of pirates didn’t show any signs of surprise, instead laughing uproariously.
“Assa, haha, what a wimp! I have heard of men being kicked out of bed by women, but never a man being kicked off a ship by a woman. Hahaha, I’m dying of laughter!”
“Brother, you’re no match. Let me do it.”
Another pirate on the same speedboat leered at Ye Xingguang’s exquisite face, rubbing his hands together in eager anticipation as he chuckled and drooled.
Bai Peiluan, standing on another boat, couldn’t help but be nervous for Ye Xingguang. This girl was a pirate? A lone girl dared to challenge so many armed pirates – was it sheer audacity or foolish courage?
At that moment, another pirate, learning from his companion’s case, tried to avoid Ye Xingguang’s leg, attempting to seize her arm. But Ye Xingguang had lightning reflexes and an even faster kick. She raised her leg once again, tossing another pirate into the sea.
The pirates were laughing their heads off and no one took this incident seriously. It was just a little girl after all. Could a bit of martial arts skill overpower fifty or sixty of them? If that was true, they might as well just give up being pirates!
Amidst their jeers, the remaining pirates on the speedboat moved in together.
Kicking one person off was easy. Kicking off several at once, Ye Xingguang was no superwoman. But she was unruffled. She allowed the pirates to board her yacht and then dealt with them all at once.
She moved so fast that the pirates on other speedboats, who were watching the show, hadn’t even figured out what happened when their comrades were tossed into the sea like sacks of sand by Ye Xingguang. Suddenly, no one was laughing.
However, they had guns. How could they be afraid of one girl? That would be too ridiculous. Someone raised his gun from a distance, aiming at Ye Xingguang: “Seems like our pretty lady has got some skills! Now, this is fun! Don’t move, or else … it won’t be good for your health.”
