Early the next morning, Li Manman was sleeping soundly when she was woken up by the phone ringing. She fumbled for the phone on the bed and pressed it several times before answering: "Who is so inconsiderate to disturb my sweet dreams?"
On the other end of the line, Tong Ze had just gotten off the plane and didn’t know exactly where the girl was, so he called.
"It’s me, send me your location quickly."
"You actually came, I’ll send it to you right away."
Li Manman hung up the phone, sent her location to Tong Ze, then turned over in bed to continue sleeping. Because of Feng Yi’s call last night, she didn’t fall asleep until around three in the morning and now she was dead tired.
An hour later, Tong Ze got out of the car at the hotel Li Manman was staying at. He pushed his suitcase into the lobby, followed the location on WeChat to find the girl’s room, and rang the doorbell.
In the bedroom, Li Manman sat up from the bed in annoyance, feeling like she could kill Tong Ze.
She groggily got out of bed, put on her slippers, and went out to open the door: "Why did you have to come all the way here? Just sit wherever you like, I need to sleep a bit more."
Tong Ze pushed his suitcase along, following behind Li Manman, a deep smile on his lips: "I bought you breakfast. Eat before you sleep, okay?"
"Not eating, and don’t wake me up again."
With that, Li Manman directly closed the bedroom door, flopped back onto the bed, and continued dreaming with Zhou Gong over tea.
Tong Ze had gotten on the plane late last night, so he was exhausted too. He simply lay down on the sofa and fell asleep himself.
Around noon, Tong Ze was woken by the doorbell. He sat up from the sofa, walked to the entrance, and opened the door. Li Muzi looked at him in surprise: "Who are you? How are you in Manman’s room?"
Tong Ze naturally knew who this person was, as it was this pretty decent-looking half-blood face he saw in the girl’s social media circle yesterday.
Tong Ze looked at Li Muzi with a darkened face: "I’m Manman’s boyfriend."
"Don’t listen to his nonsense," came Li Manman’s slightly hoarse voice from behind.
Li Muzi smiled at Tong Ze: "You’re Manman’s backup boyfriend, right? You’re quite handsome. No wonder she turned me down yesterday."
"Stop standing in the doorway, come in already."
Li Manman said as she turned around and went to the bathroom. After freshening up, she returned to the bedroom to change into a dress before coming out.
"Where are we going to play today?"
Li Manman sat down on the sofa. She had arranged with Li Muzi yesterday to go out and have fun today.
Li Muzi took out his phone from his pants pocket, opened the screen, and showed it to Li Manman: "I did some research last night and found some nice places. We could go snorkeling first and then to the Sea God Temple. Also, I think Lombok Island is pretty good."
Li Manman happily looked at the photos on the screen and thought they were indeed beautiful: "Let’s hurry up and go then."
Tong Ze stood up from the sofa, grabbing the girl’s wrist: "I think just the two of us can have fun. There’s no need to bring him along."
"I already arranged it with Li Muzi yesterday. The more, the merrier, so stop dawdling and let’s go,"
Tong Ze gave Li Muzi an unhappy look but had no choice but to follow alongside the girl. After the three of them had lunch in the hotel restaurant, they went snorkeling first.
While snorkeling underwater, Tong Ze stayed close to Li Manman, wary of Li Muzi. He was really overthinking it, though, because Li Muzi just considered Manman a friend.
They took many photos underwater; this time, Li Manman dared not post them on her social circle, but Tong Ze posted quite a few.
