In an instant, Manman’s heart filled with panic, and tears slipped down her cheek.
"What happened? What did Jinghan say to you?" Han Xi looked at the girl and asked worriedly.
"Feng Yi is hospitalized with stomach bleeding, I need to go see him immediately."
Manman turned around hurriedly and walked out, Chu Ci and Han Xi followed behind: "I told you two, this is what happens when you mess around unnecessarily."
Manman wiped her tears, allowing Chu Ci to criticize her.
Han Xi got into the driver’s seat and leaned over to fasten the seatbelt: "Don’t cry, Manman, it probably isn’t very serious."
"Why does he have to mess with himself like this? Can’t we just break up peacefully? Why does he have to make me feel guilty and upset?"
Manman leaned on Chu Ci’s shoulder, crying uncontrollably, her mind filled with thoughts of Feng Yi.
Chu Ci raised a hand and patted the girl’s back: "Okay, stop crying, let’s go see him first and then talk."
The car quickly parked in the hospital’s underground parking lot, and the three of them took the elevator up, opening the door to the ward where Feng Yi was lying in bed on an IV, with Lu Jinghan and Fu Bin sitting on the sofa.
Hearing the noise, Feng Yi turned around, his eyes slightly red as he looked at Manman: "You’re back."
"Feng Yi, you’re such a jerk. We already broke up, why do you keep torturing yourself? You’re doing this just to spite me."
Manman wiped her tears and walked to the bedside, glaring at Feng Yi without speaking from the heart.
Lu Jinghan and Fu Bin wisely left the room, knowing they should give them some space to be alone in this situation.
Feng Yi sat up from the bed and pulled Manman into a tight embrace: "Don’t break up with me, I know I was wrong, the days without you were so hard to bear."
Manman beat Feng Yi with her fists, crying and scolding him bitterly: "I’m not going to forgive you, anyway you never cared most about me. Let me go!"
Instead of letting go, Feng Yi held her even tighter, one hand holding the back of Manman’s head firmly, kissing her with a fervent passion, his hot tongue breaking through her tightly clenched teeth, stirring up a storm within.
"I’m sorry, I swear I’ll never make you sad again, let’s not break up, okay?"
Feng Yi rested his forehead against Manman’s, his lips lightly brushing against the corner of hers.
Manman’s sobbing voice was thick and emotional: "Let me think about it."
"Oh, my stomach hurts so much." Feng Yi frowned as he pulled out the needle from his hand, looking sorrowful at the girl: "If you don’t agree, I won’t get treated, since you’ve already cruelly abandoned me."
"Feng Yi, why are you joking about your health, I’ll call the doctor right now."
Feng Yi refused to let her go, holding her tightly in his arms: "I don’t want to break up with you."
Manman looked at Feng Yi with tears in her eyes, her heart aching painfully: "Fine, we won’t break up."
Feng Yi wore a faint smile at the corner of his mouth, his nose nuzzling hers: "We’ll go register for a marriage certificate tomorrow."
"Alright, as long as you don’t regret it."
"I’ll never regret it."
Han Xi was a bit worried about Feng Yi’s condition, she had just checked with the doctor’s office, and after coming out, she frowned at Lu Jinghan: "Feng Yi doesn’t really have a stomach bleed, right?"
