Lu Jinghan frowned as he took a towel to help her wipe the water off her face. "Didn’t I tell you to sit on the sofa? Why do you keep vomiting, is it very uncomfortable?"
In a short while, Han Xi had already vomited twice, and Lu Jinghan was starting to regret letting this girl get pregnant; it was really quite a torment.
"I’m okay, don’t worry."
Lu Jinghan cupped Han Xi’s face and leaned down to kiss her lips. "I’m sorry, if I had known it would be so hard on you, I wouldn’t have let you get pregnant."
"What nonsense are you talking? If the baby hears, they will think we don’t like them. This is a normal pregnancy reaction, it’s okay."
Manman came over with a fruit platter. "I noticed Chu Ci didn’t throw up much, but you’re just one month in and throwing up like this, what are you going to do for the next two months?"
"It’s not as serious as you say."
Han Xi linked arms with Manman as they walked toward the living room, whispering in a voice only the two of them could hear, "Don’t say these things in front of Jinghan, he just said he regrets letting me get pregnant."
"What a good man, he cares for you so much."
The two of them sat on the sofa, and Manman stuck a fork into a kiwi and put it in Han Xi’s mouth. "I think for now you should stop going to work at the hospital; in your current state, going there is just torturing yourself."
"I’ll consider it when the time comes."
Manman didn’t mention anything about Feng Yi, chatting casually with Han Xi as if nothing was wrong.
In about half an hour, Lu Jinghan had tidied up the house and walked to the living room, picking up Han Xi’s coat from the sofa. "Let’s go home first."
Han Xi turned to Manman, giving her a concerned reminder, "Remember to call me if there’s anything."
"Got it, now go quickly."
Lu Jinghan helped Han Xi put on her coat and held her hand as they left the villa.
By the time they got home, the sky had already darkened. Lu Jinghan changed his shoes at the entrance and first went to the kitchen, telling Sister Zhang that Han Xi was pregnant and to prepare a light dinner.
He still didn’t know which smells Han Xi was sensitive to, so he could only ask Sister Zhang to prepare various options.

Sister Zhang set the dinner on the table and looked at the two coming down from the stairs with a smile. "Sir and madam, dinner is ready."

Han Xi pulled out a chair and was about to sit at the dining table when she suddenly felt nauseous and wanted to vomit. She quickly raised her hand to cover her nose. "Sister Zhang, please take away the braised pork and shrimp, I really can’t stand the smell."
