Gu Nanxi picked up the knife from the table, calmly cutting the vegetables Zhong Li had just washed: "Actually, having more concerns is good. The scariest thing is to go through life without any concerns, don’t you think that’s too lonely?"

Zhong Li continued with the seafood without looking up.
On the living room sofa, Han Xi leaned in Lu Jinghan’s arms watching TV. She’d just sneaked a peek at the two people in the kitchen, feeling there’s chemistry between them.
Forty minutes later, a big table full of dishes was ready: "Xiao Xi, Jing Han, come eat."
"Okay, coming right away."
Han Xi hooked her arm around Lu Jinghan’s as she stood up from the sofa, heading towards the living room.
Everyone sat down at the dining table, Zhong Li used chopsticks to add lots of the girl’s favorite dishes to Han Xi’s plate: "Try and see how it tastes."
Gu Nanxi pulled out a chair to sit next to Zhong Li, naturally adding some dishes to her plate as well.
Zhong Li gave him an awkward look but didn’t say anything due to Han Xi and Lu Jinghan being present.
