In the living room, Song Mengmeng swung her little arms and ran to the entrance to hug Han Xi’s leg: "Sister, you’re finally back. I’ve missed you so much."
"How much did you miss me?" Han Xi changed into her slippers, took the little one’s hand, and walked towards the living room.
"So much, much more than I miss Dad."
Lu Jinghan smiled and placed Han Xi’s coat on the sofa: "Dad, let Xiao Xi stay here with you for a while, I’ll go to the study to handle some work."
Just as they returned, Feng Yi called Lu Jinghan, saying there was an urgent document that needed his personal attention.
"Go on quickly." Song Mingyuan nodded at Lu Jinghan.
Han Xi sat down on the sofa: "Dad, where’s Aunt Shen?"
"Your Aunt Shen is in the kitchen cooking. She insisted on cooking herself knowing that you both were coming back today." Song Mingyuan leaned down, forked a piece of apple, and handed it to Han Xi: "How is Old Sir Lu’s health?"
Han Xi smiled as she took the apple: "He’s fine now."
Han Xi didn’t plan to tell Song Mingyuan about what happened with the Lu Family.
When Lu Jinghan finished the paperwork in the study and came down, Shen Qiong and Sister Zhang had already set the table: "You all come and eat quickly."
Shen Qiong removed her apron and cheerfully called out to the living room.
Han Xi nodded and walked to the dining room holding Song Mengmeng’s little hand: "Aunt Shen, why did you make so many dishes? They all look so delicious."
"Eat more, these dishes have the nutrients that pregnant women need daily."
Having given birth to Song Mengmeng just a few years ago, Shen Qiong was quite knowledgeable about what pregnant women should eat at each stage.
"Thank you, Auntie." Han Xi smiled, picked up some fish with her chopsticks, and put it into her mouth: "It’s so tasty."

Shen Qiong took a napkin from the table and wiped the oil from Song Mengmeng’s mouth, saying with a smile: "If I go to your brother’s, I can cook for him in the evenings, otherwise he’d just settle for whatever he can find by himself again."
"Hmm, alright then." Han Xi nodded.
After dinner, Shen Qiong went to her room to pack up. Originally, Lu Jinghan was supposed to drive them over, but Song Mingyuan refused his offer.
Watching their car drive away, Lu Jinghan took Han Xi’s hand and returned to the villa.
"Jing Han, are you going to the office later?"
Han Xi changed her shoes, took Lu Jinghan’s coat, and draped it over her arm as she walked towards the living room.
"No, I’ll stay at home with you."
Han Xi nodded, placed the coat over the back of the sofa, and was about to bend over for the remote control when Lu Jinghan wrapped his arms around her, unexpectedly placing her onto his lap.
Han Xi lifted her hand to circle Lu Jinghan’s neck, her chin gently resting on his shoulder: "What’s the matter?"
"I just...want you now."
Lu Jinghan’s clear voice carried an irresistible allure. Turning his head, his lips brushed against Han Xi’s soft ones, the cool touch and friction igniting every cell in Lu Jinghan’s body with excitement.
