Yuchuan sat back down at the table and kept giving Su Qingyue chicken meat. She shook her head, “That’s too much, you should eat more too.”
As she spoke, she picked up a piece of chicken and put it in Xiao Qinghe’s bowl.
“I want some too…” Yuchuan pushed his bowl in front of her.
She frowned and said coldly, “Can’t you pick it up yourself?”
“The chicken your wife picks is tastier.”
She rolled her eyes at him, “Do not speak while eating or sleeping.”
“Don’t talk during meals and when going to bed.”
“You could have just said it plainly.” He grinned, “You know that your husband hasn’t read any books. You’re talking too profound if an uneducated person like me can’t understand.”
“Alright.” Yishan intervened, “Everyone, just eat quietly.”
Xiao Qinghe chewed on the chicken his wife gave him, as the delicious taste filled him with a sense of gratitude. His gaze fell on the faces of his second and third brothers, and he became worried again. He knew what his wife meant—she chose him, not his second and third brothers…

The little bastard also got a few pieces of chicken, and a big bowl of soup and rice, eating contentedly in the corner.
