“Then why did he still give you ten taels of silver?” Xiao Yishan asked about the odd part.
“How would I know?” she said indifferently, “He must have his reasons. It was agreed as hush money anyway, and I had already taken eight taels, so taking another two today doesn’t bother me. “Fine.” Her voice was gentle.
He lifted his head, and his handsome face hadn’t changed much, but his two eyes were bruised in big circles, turning into giant panda eyes, which against his pale skin and with two streams of blood in his nose, looked particularly comical.
“Hahaha!” Su Qingyue couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
Xiao Yishan saw his third brother and laughed, feeling both pained and amused.
Xiao Qinghe wore the same expression as the second brother.
