The Stargazing Witch & The Dungeon Planet Chapter 127

Chapter 101: Calamity Slowly Resolved While Hiding Away

I didn’t know if it was a planet like Espoiramissa.

Or one of the practically invisible monsters.

Nothing that forced me into that state again would survive my wrath.

The only positive that came from Thomas’ survival–I would greatly prefer him to be dead after everything I threw at him–was that I could ransack whatever the item was and force Espr to help me track it down, wherever it existed.

Espr, would you mind telling me where I can find this ‘Thing’ that dared attack me?.

Espr replied with a firm no.

Not that I was surprised.

Espoiramissa cared for my safety in its own way, and I knew what I was asking about was very dangerous to my well being far more than my usual antics. So, it looked like I had to force it in some way.

I dragged myself up the wall, I needed somewhere better to rest.

“Argh, I’m going to move…”

Just behind the plating, I don’t want to be annoyed for the foreseeable future.

I continued down the hallway, and as I did, my mind wandered to the current state of the conflict. I wondered if that kid got caught up in the damage in the second segment and made it out alive, though he had a higher chance to survive than Roger. Before I dipped out of the warzone, the chaos on the battlefield still appeared very bad, and with all the high-powered destruction, he might not have made it.

Finally, I found a spot in the wall that worked. I tore it back and gave it a quick weld shut, it was barely noticeable, but you could see if you were looking at it. It wasn’t meant to be a perfect hidey-hole, just a place I could relax and recover with a lower chance of being disturbed.

I moved around for a bit longer, moving through the tight passages that were left between the metal plating.

At this point, I was literally in between the walls of the segment. It was pitched black, but I could see fine enough, and at least here no one would bother me as I recovered.

But… I wasn’t sure how much recovery I could truly achieve.

I was good at dealing with pain.

But fucking dammit everything—cells, bones, mana, essence of my soul—screamed in agony.

My helmet was broken and couldn’t reform its shape after my horns retracted. However, they didn’t retract that far.

The worst case had happened, the horns were still protruding from my head.

Two small spikes in the front and a few lumps in the other four locations.

I guess it is finally time to see the damage.

I got ready to look at the disaster that my Soul Page was likely to be in.

Name: Ceella Stella (Celestira Luxpoir) | Race: [Human?]

Mana: 180% Starlight: 1%

Vocation: [Stargazer]

- Gazing Upon The Stars

- Disruptive Starlight (X)

- Primal Guardian Lord [Lv 252]

- Unleashed Awakening

Well, it was worse and better than I thought.

The obvious changes were that my level dropped from 305 to 263, and [Primal Guardian Lord] increased from 191 to 252.

The second most obvious was that my skill felt off, it wasn’t something I could picture, but when I tried to examine its contents, it was simply a blur.

I didn’t lose any of my core skills, likely due to [Blazer Solar] taking the brunt of the damage. I wasn’t sure how that happened, but I did feel like having a soul lecture at the moment from Espr. [Disruptive Starlight] presence was still there but appeared to be a shell of its former self. I hoped whatever damage was dealt to it could be repaired with time considering it hadn’t left my Soul Page. [Starlight] didn’t go unscathed either, and I lost a few of my Starlight magic skills.

I wanted to be angry, and I was, but…

More importantly, I needed to find a solution.

My soul had decreased in proper size, but it was still bloated, which gave me some ideas.

Some amount of time passed. I thought I was pretty good at keeping track of hours passing, but at the moment, I could barely even think about my family and stars, let alone something small like the passage of time.

I heard some loud explosions vibrate the segment and felt everything quiet down after a while. I was not sure if a few hours or days had passed.

That likely meant the conflict had been resolved.

I had no idea of the damages, but I only hoped that not much more harm had been done to the civilians on the station.

It also meant I had to leave soon, but it was so hard to move.

Some more amount of time passed. Not too much longer, as I was more in my right mind this time, maybe a day or two?

Then I heard a woman’s voice. I recognised it.

“You are a hard woman to find.”

With a small white light filling the room and two green eyes staring at my helmet, I met my first guest in my humble abode.
