Feng Tianlan was undaunted and had no thought for her personal safety. She appeared to care so much. Did she still like Xi Jin that much? Had she forgotten Si Mobai’s existence, now?
Watching Xi Jin grab her hand, she did not struggle. She leaned in next to his ear and was crying. What was she talking about? Why did he feel that he could not hear clearly?
Xi Jin only felt his consciousness becoming more and more blurry, but his vision of Dai’er was getting clearer. “Come and catch me. I’ll let you pull my braids if you catch up with me. You will have to buy chestnut candy if you can’t catch up with me,” she said.

Listening to his words, Feng Tianlan could no longer hold back her tears. Drop by drop, they fell and mingled with her trickling blood, dripping down through the air over Xi Jin. She said, “I won’t play tricks. I’m really not playing tricks. You can pull them as much as you want.”
“I already bought… the chestnut candy…”
Feng Tianlan looked at him, pulling out a corner of grease paper from his arms. Her tears fell hotly as she said, “I don’t want to eat it. I just want Big Brother Jin. Dai’er will never eat another chestnut candy as long as you get well.”
Xi Jin’s line of sight blurred. That bright red figure with the brilliant smile completely disappeared from his line of sight. He said, “Dai’er… Wait for me…” I will still love you in the next life!
“Big Brother Jin, don’t sleep.” Feng Tianlan looked at him as he closed his eyes. His hands gently drooped down, and a corner of the bag of chestnut candy fell from his arms. She suddenly panicked and pressed her wrist onto his lips, but the blood still flowed out of the corners of his mouth. She urged, “Big Brother Jin, no, don’t sleep. Please, I beg you. Dai’er is here, Dai’er is here.”
Si Mobai stood coldly and watched Feng Tianlan cry out in utter pain for another man. His body was cold, and his heart was even colder. He wanted to go over and pull her to him, but he did not dare to do it, for he was afraid of being pushed away by her. He was scared of holding her back from saving Xi Jin’s life and that she would hate him.
He also wanted to leave but could not bear to. He was worried. Had he left, what would happen if she were to be bullied?
But it felt really cold and painful to stay.
“Big Brother Jin, I’ll save you. I won’t let you die.” Feng Tianlan wiped away her tears and put Xi Jin down. She opened his mouth and pressed her bleeding wrist to it to let the blood flow in. It did not matter if it flowed out. She just had to feed him more.
Her one hand was feeding him the blood, and her other hand was placed on his heart, imparting Nature Spiritual Force. A steady stream flowed to Xi Jin’s heart without stopping. She had only one thought in her mind, which was that Big Brother Jin could not die. He absolutely must not die.
He was innocent. How could he die?
There were no wailing cries in her ears, only Xi Jin hanging on by a thread.
There was no one else in Si Mobai’s eyes. There was only her, crying her heart out for another man. From head to toe, from inside out, from his bones to his limbs, cold was radiating everywhere and freezing him.
After some unknown time had passed, Feng Tianlan was dizzy. The blood flow from her wrist had trickled down to drops. The Nature Spiritual Force she had imparted had almost dried up.
“Lan’er.” Seeing how Feng Tianlan suddenly fell upon Xi Jin’s body, Si Mobai’s heart jumped. He strode forward and sent the empress and another person flying with a shot. Then he carried Feng Tianlan.
Feng Tianlan cracked open her eyes a little and saw the pale-looking Si Mobai. She wanted to struggle but had no strength. “Mobai, I want to save him,” she said.
