"Huiyan, are you joking with us? How can this, this possibly be your house?"
Chen Mei really couldn’t accept living in this place, so even her voice trembled slightly.
"Mom, why would I joke about this? Hurry up and get the luggage sorted, I still need to go to the vegetable market to buy groceries for lunch tonight!"
Cheng Huiyan said as she actually began unpacking the suitcases, placing items from inside into the wardrobe one by one.
Chen Mei felt at a loss and could only tug at Xue Junyi’s sleeve.
"Junyi, say something! Didn’t you say Huiyan was going to take us to live in a luxurious house? Is this what you call a mansion in Yan City?"
Xue Junyi finally snapped out of it, his face still ashen.
"Sister Huiyan, we’re married now, there’s no need for you to keep testing me. I know your house can’t just be this place..."
Xue Junyi still couldn’t accept the old and dilapidated house, always feeling that Cheng Huiyan was testing him.

After seeing Cheng Huiyan exposed for owning several mansions in Platinum Blue County, Xue Junyi even worried that he had seen it wrongly, so he specifically took photos of the images and texts to scrutinize them later.
During the time after they got their marriage certificate, living day-to-day in a rented place, Xue Junyi also used these photos to dream about a wealthy life in the future, which is what proudly kept him going.
Now, with Cheng Huiyan still putting on an act in front of him, Xue Junyi couldn’t stand it any longer and thrust the photos directly in front of her.
"Isn’t this you? If these houses in Platinum Blue County aren’t yours, what were you doing at the doorstep in the middle of the night?"
Cheng Huiyan tried to break free from Xue Junyi, but the sudden explosion of his strength was astonishing, as if he almost wished to tear her arms off.
She screamed and shouted, accusing Xue Junyi of violence: "Xue Junyi, are you even a man? We’ve only been married for a few days, and you’re already laying hands on me!"
Cheng Huiyan’s protest was cut off halfway when she saw what was on the screen of Xue Junyi’s phone.

So she completely ignored the insincere excuses from Xue Junyi.
"I have not deceived you, whether you believe it or not!" Cheng Huiyan’s face turned cold too.
Seeing that Xue Junyi wanted to explain further, Cheng Huiyan directly asked him: "And have you never questioned the motives of the person who leaked this information to you?"
Xue Junyi immediately recalled seeing the expose pop up on a computer at school.

So, was this news fake?
Cheng Huiyan doesn’t actually have that many mansions, and he’s been foolishly tricked?

Not until they reached the entrance of Technical College did Xue Junyi rush out of the taxi and into the dormitory, where he pummeled the roommate who had chatted with him days before.
His roommate was bewildered by the beating and asked Xue Junyi: "Are you out of your mind? You disappear for days, come back, and start hitting me, are you sick?"
Xue Junyi landed a few more punches and hysterically shouted: "Why did you lie to me! Do you have any idea, you’ve ruined my life!"
