The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory Chapter 132

She was Old Master Jackson’s only daughter, vibrant and lively in her youth, a stark contrast to the steady and composed nature of the Jackson Family; she was like a fire that never burned out.

The kind of person who would do anything for love and dreams.

She had gone against Old Master Jackson, and didn’t originally regret it. Over the years, she traveled the world with her husband, constantly captivated by various new experiences, always yearning to explore, pursue, capture beauty, and enjoy an unrestrained life.

Until that husband, whose eyes were like the sea, suddenly met with an accident.

In his excitement to capture a beloved sunrise, he took a wrong step and fell off the edge of a cliff, leaving no remains.

She was depressed for several months, and suddenly thought of Old Master Jackson.

She wasn’t particularly filial, yet after wandering for decades, had never felt such a strong urge to return to her roots.

That’s why she brought her young son back to the country.

Feeling unashamed, she never considered the complexities that Lydia Williams was hung up on.

She completely ignored the dagger-like gaze of Lydia Williams.

Aiden Jiang showed no expression on his face, but he was pondering and thought about finding a time to give her some advice.

To this day, he still instinctively protected and worried about her.

Mia Ginger, sensitive at heart, naturally picked up on Lydia Williams’ barely concealed hostility and smiled indifferently, lowering her head.

"Grandpa," Marianne Jackson’s cautious voice sounded.

The group snapped out of their thoughts.

"Hmm," Old Master Jackson gave her a look, responded blandly, and didn’t invite her to sit, instead he turned and asked Mia Ginger with a smile, "Last time, for your birthday, I had Aunt Jackson take this girl to the Ginger Family to apologize to you. Did you forgive them?"

As soon as the old master’s words fell, everyone in the hall froze for a moment.

Mia Ginger looked at Marianne Jackson in surprise.

Not to mention forgiveness, she hadn’t even heard a single apology from the mother and daughter duo.

This was rather amusing.

Mia Ginger looked at Old Master Jackson with a smile.

"Dad, listen to you," Lydia Williams suddenly intercepted, speaking with a hint of grievance and comfort, "Last time, I really was momentarily possessed by a devil. If I had known it would have made you ill, I wouldn’t have done such a thing to make you so angry, right? How could I dare go against your words, I truly apologized, and it’s rare that Mia is such an understanding child. We all said that matter would be forgotten, why bring it up again? Please, don’t get upset, your health is important."

She was adept with words, with each carrying a deeper meaning.

The words of sarcasm Mia Ginger wanted to say were all stuck in her throat.

She could easily refute Lydia Williams’ lies.

She couldn’t joke about the Old Master’s health.

The old man was indeed broad-minded and righteous, but now he was ninety-six years old.

How could he be repeatedly upset and angry over trivial matters?

Mia Ginger’s fingers clenched tightly at her side, and she changed her tone with a smile, "Yes, I’ve forgiven them, Grandpa Jackson, don’t dwell on it, your health is important."

Lydia Williams and the standing Marianne Jackson both breathed a sigh of relief.

The latter bit her lip and glanced at her.

The fire inside Mia Ginger flared up again, she met her gaze unwaveringly.

Lydia Williams and Aunt Lee both spoke at the same time.

The two who were staring at each other were both taken aback.

Aunt Lee was already smiling as she walked up to Mia Ginger, inquiring, "Why hasn’t anyone touched this fruit platter? Is it not to your liking?"
