She was still in her morning outfit, standing out among the slightly awkward group of freshman students, standing in front of a boy, assertively handing over a high-end brand’s clothing shopping bag.
Everyone gathered around her turned their heads, whispering and pointing.
Windsor Myres acted as if she didn’t see it at all, her red lips curved into an alluring smile as she said, "Here. To compensate for your shirt."
"I said there’s no need," the boy replied coldly.
He was tall and slim, seemingly about six feet tall, handsome and with a cool demeanor, like the male lead often seen in girls’ comics. He wore just a simple white T-shirt and jeans, yet still stood out among the crowd, like a crane among chickens.
There was a restrained charm that surpassed his contemporaries, a temperament somewhat similar to Koa Jackson, but clearly more boyish.
Mia Ginger and her friends were some distance away, so naturally, they couldn’t hear what they were saying, though they could pretty much guess.
Looking at Maeve’s expression, she could confirm that it was Camden River without a doubt.
He possessed the qualities that girls of this age found appealing.
How did he get tangled up with Windsor Myres?
Mia Ginger couldn’t help but feel puzzled.
Camden River’s heartless rejection caused a round of jeers from those around.
Some boys started to heckle.

"Hey beautiful, if he doesn’t want it, give it to me, I want it."
"Yeah, yeah, better give it to me."
Windsor Myres suddenly turned her head, her gaze sharp as she looked at the few heckling boys, and slowly spoke.
Her voice suddenly rose a degree, and the crowd suddenly became quiet. Mia Ginger clearly heard that sentence filled with heavy disdain, "Who do you think you are?!"
The quiet crowd suddenly erupted with noise.
The boys’ tidal wave of jeers and whistles, mingled with the girls’ whispers and gasps, made the shaded path as noisy as a marketplace.
They were all just freshmen, coming from all across the country.
Who would have thought they’d encounter such an arrogant classmate on the first day?
Camden River, subject to everyone’s gaze, was more than irritated.
He cast a glance at Windsor Myres, who wouldn’t give up, and said coldly, "I’ll take it."
Windsor Myres suddenly smiled.
Like the most beautiful poppy flower suddenly blooming, she carried an enchanting presence that made people go crazy, full of charm.
The few boys she had just scolded were dumbfounded once more, feeling honored just to be cursed by her, no longer caring about the lost face.
But Camden River remained unmoved, his clearly jointed hand reaching over to take the paper bag.
Maeve watched in shock, her eyes turning red.
Mia Ginger felt a bit conflicted; she never expected, in the very next moment, Camden River would take two steps, toss the bag into the small cart parked by the roadside cleaning up trash, and stand aside with an expressionless face.
A burst of laughter erupted from the crowd.
Windsor Myres’ enchanting smile froze at the corners of her lips, looking at him incredulously, biting her lip, she said, "What do you mean by this?"
"Wasn’t it meant to compensate me?" Camden River said indifferently, "Since it’s already mine, how I deal with it is my business, not yours."
He was really fed up with the clingy girl.
And to top it off, while he was queuing to pay the fees in the morning, he got splashed with a drink by Windsor Myres.
It was just a shirt, though.
Ruined is ruined, he didn’t care about it.
