"It’s still early." Mia Ginger glanced at the time and said with a smile, "Take me around the campus again, just like a drive."
Koa Jackson glanced at her speechlessly and drove off.
"There’s no breeze, open the sunroof."
A few minutes after driving, Mia Ginger made another request.
Koa Jackson smiled and opened the windows.
The cool breeze of the summer night poured in, and Mia Ginger’s soft short hair was entirely blown into a mess, flying and fluffy. Her exquisite little face resembled a captivating porcelain doll, glowing with luminous whiteness, carrying a hint of childlike beauty that made hearts tremble.
He was infected by her, feeling several years younger, and joined her in the playful antics.
Soon, the car circled the campus three whole times.
Again, it stopped in front of the dormitory building.
"One more round," Mia Ginger eagerly requested again.
"Another round?" Koa Jackson chuckled, turned sideways to ruffle her hair, raised his eyebrows, and said, "Little One, don’t you check the time."
"It’s 11:10." Mia Ginger pouted, "The dormitory gate closes at 11:30."
"We’ll go around again tomorrow night." Koa Jackson patted her cheek, "It’s too late tonight, get some rest early, there’s military training tomorrow."
"...Alright." Mia Ginger hesitated for a moment, nodded, and said, "I’ll head back then, be careful on the way."
She suddenly thought of something as her words fell——
It’s already past eleven, Koa Jackson gets back even later.
She became momentarily self-reproachful.
Koa Jackson saw through her thoughts in an instant and smiled, "I’m staying at the hospital tonight, can sleep in a bit tomorrow morning."
"That’s right, you start at nine." Mia Ginger instantly cheered up, opened the rear door to get out, peeked her head, "Good night."
"Good night." Koa Jackson tugged at the corners of his lips.
Mia Ginger closed the car door, didn’t leave, stood under the streetlight watching him.
Koa Jackson waved his hand urging her to hurry back to the dormitory.
Mia Ginger reluctantly waved back, turned around, and slowly walked toward the dormitory.
She heard the sound of the car leaving.
She halted her steps, turned around, stood still, watching the direction Koa Jackson left.
Evidently sweet, yet suddenly felt a bit sorrowful.
She thought of a phrase.
Meeting someone, she becomes very small, small to the dust, then a flower blooms from the dust.
Koa Jackson, is that person.
Makes her cry, makes her laugh, makes her excited and sad, yet makes her throw caution to the wind, his mere words can trigger her emotions, once he shows gentleness and patience, she is doomed.
Really, utterly defenseless.
On thinking, it becomes uncomfortable, the closeness arrives too suddenly, when together, she is utterly absorbed.
Once separated, it feels like walking on thin ice.
A gust of wind blew, Mia Ginger hugged her shoulders, couldn’t help shivering a bit.
"Is your injury healed?"
A slightly reproachful male voice suddenly sounded behind her.
Mia Ginger subconsciously turned around.
