This dormitory building doesn’t have private bathrooms.
The school’s public bathhouse is only so big, and it’s often overcrowded.
Of course, she has to save as much time as possible.
She carefully packed her things, but still managed to wake Blair Chester, who always slept lightly.
Blair reached for her phone to check the time, then sat up.
She looked at Mia for a while, puzzled, and asked, "Are you planning not to come back tonight?"
"No, I’m just going for a shower after military training in the afternoon." Mia had just finished packing, smiled, and said, "Are you coming with? If no one goes with me, I’ll just go by myself."
Her tone was light and playful, a side Blair had never seen before.
Blair paused, then couldn’t help but tease, "So that was really your boyfriend at noon?"
"He’s not." Mia sat down, hugging the chair back, and after a brief thought, smiled generously, "The one I’ll be seeing tonight is my boyfriend."
"Whoa, you really do have a boyfriend!"
Wren King also stopped sleeping, turned over on the bed, and looked at her with a gossip-filled expression, "What does he look like? Do you have a photo? Is he handsome?"
"He’s handsome." Mia shrugged, "The most handsome man I’ve ever seen in my life."
"Wow!" Mina Lee, on the bed next to her, also woke up and turned her head with a dramatic expression, "How handsome?!"
"Very handsome, anyway." Mia pouted, turned around, hugged her arms, and lay down on the desk.
Her roommates had never seen her so bashful and arrogant before. After exchanging glances, they all found it incredible and any hint of sleepiness vanished.
Seeing there’s still some time before military training, each of them grabbed their phones to pass the time.
Mina suddenly exclaimed, "Oh my gosh!"
"You’re terrifying, screaming like a ghost!" Wren grumbled, kicking the bed.
The heaviest sleepers, Windsor Myres and Tong Tong, also woke up, grumbling.
"Sorry, sorry, I’m just too excited." Mina explained with an excited expression, holding her phone, "The photos we took this morning are out. Check Cloud Capital City Network; our squad of girls made the headlines. Oh my, Blair’s going to be famous."
Her final words came with a gasp.
The other roommates, now wide awake, grabbed their phones to check.
Mia, with nothing to do, joined in.
Just as those reporters had said, the news headline was—"Cloud Capital University Freshmen Military Training: The Most Beautiful School Beauty Stole the Spotlight Even Sans Makeup."
The news accompanied a series of photos of Blair Chester.
The first photo showed her with her hair tied up, sitting on the ground with her knees hugged, looking sideways at the camera with a serene smile.
The second one showed her with her hair down, making a leg-lifting stride.
The third was a front-facing shot, where she tilted her head and smiled at the camera.
Altogether, there were six photos, all featuring just her.
Besides that, there was only a group photo at the beginning showing thirty-something girls smiling at the camera.
The dormitory experienced a minute of eerie silence, then Wren suddenly vented, "What’s up with that? These reporters are so unfair, promising everyone would be in the shots but only posting one person’s solo photos. It’s such a waste of emotion and effort!"
Three or four reporters had come.
They interviewed at least five or six girls and took dozens of photos, including ones of Wren.
Quite a few were taken.
Not expecting overnight fame, but at least hoping to show her face!
