Koa Jackson opened the car door and led Mia Ginger out.
The October evening already carried a chill, especially at the foot of the mountain. A gust of cold wind blew, and Mia Ginger sneezed.
Koa Jackson helped her put on the coat from the crook of his arm and asked softly, "Cold?"
Mia Ginger looked up at him, feeling his features were incredibly charming. Unable to resist, she tiptoed closer.

He didn’t say a word, just held her hand tightly. After buying tickets, they entered the mountain together, facing the night breeze.
At the mountain entrance, there was a distinctive rock. As Mia Ginger passed by, she paused and requested, "Brother Jackson, can we take a photo?"
Koa Jackson turned his head. A couple was just taking a photo next to the rock.
The young girl looked at them, her face full of envy.
Koa Jackson led her over, smiling as he asked, "Hello, could you please take a photo of us?"
"Sure." The girl reached out to take the camera.
Koa Jackson led Mia Ginger to stand by the rock, smiling for the photo.
The girl pressed the shutter, capturing the moment the two snuggled together.
This was their first photo together.
Mia Ginger was very pleased. After thanking them, she was much more excited.
Listening to the sound of the flowing water at night, the rustling leaves in the wind, she smiled at Koa Jackson, walking backward up the mountain.
After a while, she couldn’t resist singing.
Her voice was cheerful, like an unrestrained bird.
South Mountain, on the outskirts of Cloud Capital, was well-known, and the October scenery was perfect. Many people were climbing the mountain at night, and initially, everyone was eager and excited.
After three, the sounds of laughter and chatter gradually diminished.
Mia Ginger also felt tired and needed to rest for a while after walking for a bit.
The two of them moved slowly, lagging behind the others who were climbing together.
The path on the mountainside became increasingly difficult to walk.
The one-meter-wide steps stood in the darkness, and Mia Ginger couldn’t see the end when she looked up, feeling the steepness.
Koa Jackson was below her, protecting her as she held onto the iron chains on both sides, cautiously climbing up.
As they neared the top, Koa Jackson’s figure appeared behind her.
Standing two steps below her, he grasped one of her hands on the iron chain and said softly, "Hey, turn around."
Mia Ginger shifted her hand, carefully turning her head.
Koa Jackson grasped both of her hands.
Their eyes met, his deep black eyes like an endless pool in the night, gazing at her steadily. With a smile, he softly said, "Are you ready?"
"What?" Mia Ginger didn’t react for a moment.
