The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory Chapter 33

Mia Ginger was stunned for a second and softly said, "Hmm."

"I already called Uncle Lewis," Koa Jackson was a bit uneasy, "Let them know if you have any dinner preferences, Aunt Lee is good at Chinese cuisine, while Little Darcy is good at Western dishes."

"Okay." Mia Ginger replied again.

Koa Jackson held the phone, thought for a while, and finally said helplessly, "Let’s leave it at that."

Koa Jackson hung up the phone.

Feeling a bit depressed.

He’s a man of few words, which makes everyone around him seem talkative.

This was the first time he encountered someone .

Koa Jackson lowered his eyes in thought and put away his phone.

Working in the hospital is busy, and he was promoted to chief physician at a young age, which was rare; he’s also devoted to his work, spending at least five days a week in the hospital.

Overtime is the norm.

Uncle Lewis and the others were clearly used to it and didn’t take it to heart.

At exactly seven, Aunt Lee prepared dinner, and Mia Ginger dined alone in the Chinese restaurant.

Her figure was slender, wearing a light azure thin blouse, sitting alone at the large dining table, inevitably looking lonely, as if she could disappear in a blink.

Amelia Miller glanced from afar, feeling a bit complex sympathy in her heart.

She pursed her lips, feeling quite helpless as she went to the garden to make a call.

Charlotte Chester and Zuri Ginger had both given her instructions, neither could be offended, so she reported to Charlotte Chester and then called Zuri Ginger separately.

"Really? Dr. Jackson isn’t coming back tonight?" Zuri Ginger’s voice contained an unmistakable excitement.

"He said he was working overtime." Amelia reminded.

"I knew it, someone like him definitely won’t like Mia Ginger, not wanting to deal with her even on the first day," Zuri Ginger remarked to herself, "Keep a close eye, the moment he returns, what they say to each other, report to me immediately, okay?"

"Miss, I..." Amelia whispered, "The maid’s room is quite far from their rooms."

"Isn’t she bored by herself? Can’t you keep her company to relieve her boredom at any time?!"

"Hmm," Zuri Ginger chuckled, "As long as she can’t stay any longer, the promised twenty thousand will be yours."

"Thank you, Miss." Amelia said smiling and hung up the phone.

Turning around, she was scared stiff.

"S-se-second Miss." She stammered, putting her phone into her pocket.

"Have you eaten?" Mia Ginger looked at her with a smile, sitting directly two steps away on the circular sofa.

"Who were you calling?" Mia Ginger asked with a smile again.

"My mom." Amelia forced a smile.

"Oh, how interesting," Mia Ginger looked at her, the corners of her lips curling more meaningfully, "I didn’t know you called your mom ’Miss’ in private, so chic."

"..." Amelia was nearly in tears.

"What did they ask you to do?" Mia Ginger crossed her slender, fair legs, leaned forward slightly, and softly guessed, "To spy on me, anything else?"

"No, nothing else." Amelia immediately wanted to bite her tongue after speaking, hastily waving her hands, "No, they didn’t ask me to spy on you."

"Then give me your phone." Mia Ginger said, smiling with her hand outstretched.

"No, it’s just that..." Amelia was put in a dilemma, "I still need to call my family."

Mia Ginger said nothing, simply looked at her with a lingering smile.

Her lips were curved, but her black and white eyes were extremely cold, staring unblinkingly at Amelia, who couldn’t leave and felt guilty, quickly sweating on her forehead.

"Really nothing?" Mia Ginger’s smile gradually turned cold.
