"What’s wrong with smiling?" Louis Cox took off his hat and threw it on the bed, taking two steps to stand in front of her, looking down with a smile, "I’m happy."

Louis Cox grabbed her wrist, "Really not going back?"
Mia Ginger paused, "Not going back."
"Annulled the engagement with that other man?"
"None of your business!" Mia Ginger shook off one of his hands grabbing her.
Louis Cox didn’t let go, rather he tightened his grip, placing her clenched fist directly over his heart, his expression turning serious, eyes burning as he said, "You have no idea how happy this makes me."
Mia Ginger said nothing, just twisted her wrist trying to break free.
