"Miss Feng, how are you now?" Ye Ranran put the flowers she brought on the side.
"It’s heartbreaking." Feng Xi replied, her voice hoarse.
Her eyes were dull, her face pale, and her entire person seemed incomparably haggard. Where was the dazzling beauty she was when they first met?
"Can I have a word with her alone?" Feng Xi looked at Ye Ranran.
"You should go out." Ye Ranran let go of Jun Mochan’s hand.
Jun Mochan stared at her without responding.
"Honey." Ye Ranran nudged him.
"Okay, I’ll be just outside. Call me if you need anything." Jun Mochan conceded.
When it came to Ye Ranran, he was always unable to say no.
Once the door was closed, Ye Ranran took her time looking at Feng Xi: "Say what you want to say."
"Why is it you?" Feng Xi looked steadily at Ye Ranran without blinking.
Ye Ranran is quite pretty but not a remarkably beautiful woman, and while she has some talent, she is not a master of elegance.
