"It seems that the CEO plans to establish a new business department in S.Z and intends to promote a director. Ye Ranran plastered an innocent smile on her face: "You must be joking, Director. The CEO’s decision is beyond my control, and I am no one to him. I think you’ve got the wrong person."
The Director smiled amiably: "Ranran, you must be joking. Everyone knows about your relationship with the CEO."
"What relationship do I have with him?" Ye Ranran asked seriously.
The smile on the Director’s face slightly stiffened: "Isn’t it common knowledge that the CEO likes you? The issue at hand could have been resolved with just a single word from you, couldn’t it?"
The Director’s words made Ye Ranran laugh: "I think you’ve got it wrong. I’m not well-versed in business matters, so naturally, I wouldn’t make hasty judgments. Moreover, I feel the CEO’s decision is quite good. It could at least lighten the burden on the Director’s shoulders, couldn’t it?"
Ye Ranran looked at him: "You seem to be of age, Director, do you have children at home? Wouldn’t it be better to spend more time with them?"
"Enough said, I have other matters to attend to. I’ll be leaving now." After saying this, without giving the other person a chance to respond, Ye Ranran stood up and walked away.
Watching her retreating figure, the Director slapped the documents on the table.
"She’s nothing more than a secret lover. What’s there to boast about?"
As for the other party’s rage, Ye Ranran was utterly clueless. She walked along the carpeted corridor and came to a stop in front of the CEO’s office.
"Madam." Ah Chuan’s voice echoed from behind just as Ye Ranran was about to muster up courage and push open the door.

Ye Ranran chuckled uneasily: "I was about to."
Ah Chuan helped Ye Ranran to open the door. The person inside looked up upon hearing the noise.
Ye Ranran thought that only Jun Mochan was inside, but he wasn’t alone, a woman was with him.
"Did I come a bit too early?" Ye Ranran asked a tad uncomfortably.
Every previous time when she visited his office, no outsiders were there. This time, he had someone in his office discussing business. It must be something urgent.
"Not at all, come over here." Jun Mochan beckoned her.
Ye Ranran obediently went over and stood next to him.
Jun Mochan extended his hand and Ye Ranran, caught off guard, fell into his arms.
Ye Ranran gasped and unconsciously gripped his neck: "What are you doing?"
"Let me introduce you. This is the woman I cherish, Ye Ranran." Jun Mochan unabashedly introduced her to the woman sitting opposite them.
The woman across them looked on in disbelief, then sorrow, and almost failed to maintain her smile.
"Is it? Congratulations." The woman looked over Ye Ranran.
A woman as fresh and elegant as chrysanthemums, although poised, lacked allure and grace.
Su Yu didn’t understand. Why was he attracted to her when she was clearly the best fit for him?
"This is my competent assistant, and also the Executive Director of J.C, Su Yu." Jun Mochan introduced to Ye Ranran.
Ye Ranran flashed an impeccable smile: "Nice to meet you."
