"It’s not completely impossible, but to suspect my wife just based on some old photos is rather childish." Jun Mochan’s words carried a hidden warning.
Su Yu’s jealousy increased due to his protective tone, "Are you saying I’m framing her? Yesterday, she was the only one in your office, right? I gave you the bid document in the morning, and by the afternoon it was leaked. If it wasn’t her, then who else could it be?"
"And the one to acquire it, coincidentally, is Gao Han. Where in the world would there be such coincidence?"
"Exactly, isn’t it odd? Just yesterday afternoon, Director Su warned me to stay away from my husband, and today the bid document has been leaked. How would you explain this so-called ’coincidence’?"

Initially, she didn’t intend for Jun Mochan to find out about this. But now that Su Yu has backed her into a corner, she has no other alternatives.
Ye Ranran considered herself to be not a pushy person or a dominant one, but she also didn’t want to appear too weak.

The ring in the middle of his finger looked especially conspicuous.
"No, this is impossible." Su Yu kept retreating.
"I’ve liked you for so long, don’t you know that? How can you like another woman and even marry her?" Su Yu muttered, not sure whether she was asking herself or Jun Mochan.
"Just because you like me, doesn’t mean I have to like you back. Besides, many women like me, do you reckon I have to reciprocate each one of them?" Jun Mochan scoffed.
"I only like my wife, aside from her, I want nobody else. You’d better pray that you aren’t implicated in this incident, otherwise..." Jun Mochan left the sentence unfinished, but the warning in his tone was clear to anyone who wasn’t deaf.
"If I said I didn’t do it, would you believe me?" Su Yu asked hopefully.
A flash of joy lit up Su Yu’s face, but before the joy completely surfaced, Jun Mochan’s words served a cold reality: "Why? Are you overestimating yourself?"
The incredibly humiliating retort left Su Yu with no place to stand, she covered her face and ran out of the office.
Ye Ranran didn’t say anything, only looking at Jun Mochan.
"Are you finding your husband exceptionally handsome, so much so that you can’t take your eyes off me?" Jun Mochan accepted Ye Ranran’s gaze fairly calmly.
"No, I just realized how unlucky it is to fall in love with you. Who said Jun Mochan is gentle as jade? On the inside, he’s as cold as ice."
