"Girls should always respect and love themselves. Otherwise, what will you do when you meet someone you like, but you don’t even have the qualifications to be with him?" Han Yan’s tone was particularly sincere, as if she was thinking wholeheartedly about her.
"If it gets out that you’re being kept by someone else, it would sound awful. What if someone who likes you hears about it..." Han Yan’s words stopped abruptly.
Ye Ranran followed her gaze to find Che Hao standing behind her at some point.
Understanding flashed in her eyes. No wonder Han Yan emphasized that she was being kept by someone, so that was it.
"Who is being kept by someone?" Che Hao pretended to ask casually.
"No one, I don’t know anything, I didn’t say anything." Han Yan releases Ye Ranran’s hand and exaggeratedly said, "You guys chat, I have errands to do, so I’m leaving first."
It seemed she was trying to cover something up, yet her intention was obvious.
Ye Ranran didn’t know what kind of expression to make.
"What are you thinking about," Che Hao pinched Ye Ranran’s cheek.
Ye Ranran glared at him and unconsciously stepped back, "Mr. Che, we can talk, but don’t touch me. I don’t think we’re that familiar yet, are we?"
Che Hao put his hand in his trouser pocket, "Where have you been these days? I hardly see you."
Ye Ranran rolled her eyes, "Do I need your permission to go somewhere?"
"A few days not seeing you and why so irritable? It’s just a friendly greeting, don’t need to force yourself if you don’t want to answer." Che Hao shrugged.
Ye Ranran felt she was being too much, and somewhat guiltily, she said, "I’m sorry, I didn’t mean anything, I just don’t like people touching me, especially males. It wouldn’t be good if someone saw."
"Someone else? Mo Han? So, does that mean we should find somewhere else next time?" Che Hao deliberately distort her words.
Ye Ranran didn’t want to continue the talk with him, she felt she might be annoyed to death by him. Just about to leave, Che Hao suddenly grabbed her arm.
"What are you doing?" Ye Ranran glared at him.
"If you’re angry because of the previous incident, I’m sorry. If you’re worried that Mo Han might see, I think you needn’t worry. I guess he doesn’t have time right now." Che Hao looked past her shoulder.
Across from the director and producer stood Mo Han, and Su Yu was also there standing beside him.
Ye Ranran wasn’t sure what Mo Han had said to her, only that she was laughing heartily.
"I didn’t lie to you, did I?" Che Hao raised an eyebrow at her.
Ye Ranran glanced at his hand holding her arm without any fluctuation in her tone said, "I see, shouldn’t you let go of me now?"
"Feeling heartache, aren’t you? Jealous? Unable to breathe?" Che Hao asked quietly.
He lowered his head to speak to Ye Ranran, and from a distance, they appeared quite intimate.
Su Yu glanced at them from a distance, with a proud look.
"It’s just work, why would I feel heartbroken?" Ye Ranran scoffed, "On the contrary, why are you telling me this?"
Che Hao let go of her, "As your friend, I think I should remind you."
"Honestly, Mo Han is not good for you," Che Hao said.
"Whether it’s good or not, YOU don’t get to say," Ye Ranran said coldly.
Just as Che Hao wanted to say something, Ah Chuan popped up from somewhere, "Designer Ye, the boss wants to see you."
"I have to go now." Ye Ranran waved at Che Hao.
