Just as he was about to make a call, the phone on the table finally rang.
"Where are you now?" Jun Mochan immediately stood up, reaching for the clothes behind his chair.
Ye Ranran looked around and gave him the address.
"Don’t move, I’m coming for you."
At his domineering words, Ye Ranran was deeply moved. "I’ll wait for you."
Her voice was faint, but Jun Mochan heard it clearly, and a surge of joy filled his heart.
At this moment, he couldn’t wait to rush to her side and ask her what she meant.
Before Jun Mochan arrived, Ye Ranran sat bored in the car, resting her arm on the window, slightly lifting her head to stare at the sky.
There were no stars in the city sky, but the vibrant neon lights lit up the whole city as bright as daylight.
Even the clouds in the sky were visible.
Lost in thought, Ye Ranran was jolted back to reality when someone knocked on her car window.
She glanced over and saw a man as refined as jade outside.
Ye Ranran opened the car window, hopped into Jun Mochan’s arms and naturally hugged his shoulders, enthusiastically calling out, "Hubby."
Jun Mochan caught her firmly, "What were you thinking about just now?"
"I was thinking about you, but how did you know I was here since you didn’t call me?"
Although she was parked by the side of the road and had sent him her location, how did he manage to find her among so many cars?
"No matter where you are, I can always find you." Jun Mochan hugged her tightly.
"You’re just sweet-talking me again." Ye Ranran complained.
"Yes, only buttering you up." Jun Mochan joked, "Where did you go tonight? Have you been doing something behind my back?"
"I’ll tell you when we get home. For now, let’s just take a walk." Ye Ranran released herself from Jun Mochan’s embrace and held his hands tightly.
"What happened tonight? You seem very happy?" Jun Mochan asked curiously.
Ye Ranran smiled sweetly, "Can’t I be happy? Or does Mr. Jun want me to feel sad?"
Every time she teased him, she addressed him as Mr. Jun.
"Of course, I want you to be happy every day." After what happened with Gao Han, she seldom smiled genuinely.
Although she always put on a faint or gentle smile, it very seldom reached her eyes.
"We’ve been together for so long, but we have no pictures together." Ye Ranran took out her phone, "Can we take
enough photos today?"
Jun Mochan looked at her surprised, wondering why she suddenly wanted to take pictures.
"You’ve been using my old, ugly photo as your computer wallpaper. It’s not a good look when others see it. Let’s take some nice ones instead." Ye Ranran proposed while holding her phone.
"That’s a recent photo" He had secretly taken that shot.
"Tell me, when did you secretly take it?" Ye Ranran pretended to be angry.
"I didn’t take it secretly, you just didn’t notice."
"I was busy working but since I’m your wife, I’ll let it slide. Are we taking photos now or not?" Ye Ranran waved her phone at him.
"Have I ever refused my wife’s request?" Jun Mochan acted complacent while responding to her.
Ye Ranran not impressed, "You sound like you’re being forced. In that case, forget it."
"I’m not, not at all."
As Jun Mochan waved his hands to deny, Ye Ranran leaned in and took their first selfie together.
"Let me tell you, don’t provoke me in the future, or I will show this ugly photo of you to others." Ye Ranran waved her phone at Jun Mochan as a threat.
"Well, it seems you set a trap for me." Jun Mochan pretended to grab Ye Ranran, as though he’d teach her a lesson.
