Around midnight, the sound of footsteps echoed in the corridor.
Ye Ranran turned all the lights on, stood up, and looked out the peephole.
A fashionable woman with lipstick stopped in front of the opposite door.
She checked her surroundings to confirm no one was around, then knocked on the door.
Chu Ji didn’t reveal himself, only reaching out a hand to pull the woman in.
