"I think the flowers are enough."
"I want the owl plushie."
They both said their answers at the same time and then looked at each other.
"Hubby Zhang, just one plushie." Alix raised her index finger and slowly moved it around.
Caishen sighed and shook his head.
"So troublesome." he said softly.
He looked at the hopeful young woman and nodded.
The medium sized grey and white owl plushie was stuffed in Caishen's arms.
He looked at the fat soft cotton thing whose large round eyes were glittering because it had sparkles in it's eyes and he frowned.
"Why am I carrying this?"
Alix looked at the flower basket which she was carrying with two hands and she looked at him.
What am I supposed to do? she asked with her eyes.
He looked at her left hand and wondered if the flower basket was not too heavy for her.
They could both give these things to the bodyguards or the assistant but that didn't feel right. He was sure this owl would end up on their bed.
"Let's go." he told her.
"Heeey, if I am not being deceived I see my friend. Oh, Zhang Caishen is that you?"
A figure in a white doctor's coat cut in front of them.
"Oooh, this must be your wife. Caishen, did you bring your wife to introduce her to me, your bestfriend?"
Alix looked at the good looking man who had even better skin than Holea's flawless one and she shook her head.
Would it be wrong to ask for his skin care routine?
"Sister-in-law, I an Rongyan, your husband's best friend. Don't let Gu Biming convince you otherwise."
"Oh, nice to meet you, I am Lin Alix." she laughed softly and bowed slightly.
Caishen had been looking at Alix ever since Rongyan walked over and he noticed that she had not stopped looking at his face. This was the same as when she met Zhang Bo.
Did she have a weakness for good looking men? Hmph, what was so good about Rongyan's face?
"Let's go." he tugged on her elbow and said.
"Wait, wait," Rongyan cut in front of them with a cheeky smile. "We haven't taken a picture to commemorate our first meeting.
As the first in the group of friends to meet you I believe we should save this memory."
"Dong Rongyan!!" Caishen warned his friend through gritted teeth.
Ignoring his friend, Rongyan handed the phone to a nurse and she took a picture for them.
How could he miss the opportunity to take a picture of Caishen holding a plushie?
"Sister-in-law, I am busy. You can both be on your way now, I will not delay you."
Caishen snorted and turned his wheelchair in the direction of the elevator.
Before the elevator could even start moving, Rongyan had already shared the picture.

Caishen dropped Alix off at the school and left for his office. His normally clean car, he noticed had three cup cake wrappers, and an empty vacuum pink coffee cup. There were cake crumbs on the carpet where Alix and Xiaobo had sat.
The two had feasted on cup cakes and Alix added coffee from the house because she woke up late and missed breakfast with him and Xiaobo at the table.
"Have the car washed." he told the driver.
"Yes sir."
He also noticed that she had left the plushie and flowers behind.
"Leave it, take it for cleaning tonight."
She would probably be sad if something to the fat owl.
The owner of the fat owl plushie was just coming to the realization that she had left behind the flowers and plushie.

That cat slave Zhang Caishen let his cat do as it wanted around the house. It had even been moved into their bedroom now with its own comfortable bed and yet it was on their bed when she woke up. Soon it would take her space on the bed itself.
Someone wrapped her arms around her back as she opened the door to her office.
"Ho, if it isn't young madam Zhang."
"Good morning to you too Jin Kang." She pushed her office door open and went inside.
Jin Kang dangled a car key in front of her and squealed. It had the BMW logo. It was not hard to guess that her friend had bought the car she wanted.
"Congratulations." she told her.
Jin Kang caressed the car key, reminding Alix of Tai Ho Sun and the imperial jade.
These two would make a good couple, she thought.
"I should be the one congratulating you madam." Jin Kang said coquettishly.
"Speak properly." Alix gave Jin Kang an unimpressed glare told her. "What are you congratulating me for anyway?"
Jin Kang pointed at Alix's stomach.
"Why didn't you tell us that you got with Zhang Caishen before the wedding? I now understand why you married him abruptly. It must be because of the little ancestor in your womb."
Confused, Alix eyed her friend as if she had lost a few marbles.
"You are speaking crazy. Go, I have a coaching session with Qing Rao."
"Xi-Xi, are you going to deny it even now? The proof is already out there. It's trending on weibo, you and Zhang Caishen are expecting a child. Seriously, do you even consider me to be your friend?"
She looked at her phone and said, "Look, Holea has called me three times already seeking an explanation. Oh, and she said that if you don't turn on your phone she will come over and break it."
Alix had not turned her phone on since morning, the number one reason being that Wei Tao kept calling and spamming her with desperate texts begging her to meet him.
Billi kept threatening her and Lin Qianfan kept ordering her to discuss his company with Caishen.
After what Jin Kang said, she switched on the phone to see what she was talking about.
Her eyes widened when she saw the trending news related to Zhang Caishen.
The picture his friend had taken in the hospital had circulated very quickly and people were congratulating them already. The general idea was that she was pregnant, they even specified fictional details claiming that she was three weeks pregnant.
"What the fruit!!" she blurted.
The phone fell out of her hands and hit the floor.
