Bai Chuwei opened her backpack that contained nothing except for the lone phone inside.
This was the second hand phone which Bai Yinyin had passed to her.
Even though she had lived for five thousands years and gave no heed to materialistic things, she did not like using previously-owned items.
She furrowed her brows and picked up the call. Before she could even open her mouth to speak, the other party started scolding her like a machine gun. “Bai Chuwei, where th f*ck are you? You can walk home by yourself if you don’t come to the car right this instant!”
If not for the fear that her grandfather would hit her, Bai Yinyin would have abandoned her and left by now.
Bai Chuwei replied calmly. “I have something on today.”
