Chapter 109: Chapter 98: Re-entering Qingyuan
On the evening of September 9, the day before Zhang Mingze was acquitted.
Qingyuan Fist Village.
Liu San arrived at the residential area of the Inner Village.
Ever since the assassination attempt on Zhang Mingze by the Green-faced Ghost, he had been temporarily placed in the residential area by the Big Leader, to prevent being targeted by the Tiger Saber Gang after leaving the Fist Village.
Not long after, an imposter posing as the Green-faced Ghost was captured, and Liu San thought he was safe, so he moved back to his own home.
Unexpectedly, before long, the ‘Market Entrance’ incident erupted, and the Green-faced Ghost murdered seven officials overnight!
Although unclear about the specifics, Liu San intuitively felt that this latter appearing figure was the real Green-faced Ghost, and that he hadn’t been captured.
Thus, he considered whether to move back to Fist Village, but he also thought that the Tiger Saber Gang would probably not bother targeting such a minor figure like himself.

After hanging up, Liu San hesitated repeatedly, but finally rushed back to Qingyuan Fist Village at top speed, then came to the residential area of the Inner Village, and was stopped outside a large courtyard.
This large courtyard was the residence of the Big Leader, who didn’t summon anyone personally, people like Liu San, a boxer manager, had no right to enter.
“Brother, could you please let the Big Leader know that I have an urgent matter to discuss with him?”
Liu San said with a smile to the guard at the gate.
The guard sneered, “Who are you? The Big Leader isn’t someone you can just meet whenever you wish.”
“It’s about the Green-faced Ghost, it’s really an urgent matter!”
Liu San leaned forward and whispered.
The guard hesitated for a moment and exchanged glances with Liu San, “Wait here, I’ll go report.”
A few minutes later, the guard came back out and said to Liu San:
“Come with me, the Big Leader wants to see you.”
Liu San was overjoyed and followed the guard into the courtyard for the second time.
He then walked into the large hall adorned with weapon racks on either side and saw the Big Leader seated on the Taishi Chair.
The Big Leader was wearing green clothes as usual, with a long ponytail, a noble aura, and eyes sharp as swords.
“I pay my respects to the Big Leader.”
After the guard withdrew, Liu San quickly bowed.
“You said you had urgent business related to the Green-faced Ghost. Has the Green-faced Ghost contacted you again?”
The woman in green asked directly.
“The Big Leader is divinely insightful, indeed that is the case.”
Liu San said, bowing his head.
“He said he wanted to have a talk with the Big Leader, concerning the survival of the Qingyuan Fist Village.”
Liu San looked up cautiously and spoke.
The woman in green scoffed, “Quite the alarmist. How does he intend to ‘talk’ to me?”
Seeing that the Big Leader was not angry, Liu San let out a sigh of relief and hurriedly said:
“He left a phone number for me.”
The woman in green, while watching Liu San bow and hold his head down, asked with interest:
“Why are you willing to relay his message?”
Liu San trembled and quickly said, “It concerns the Fist Village. I thought that if even a fraction of what he said was true, the Big Leader should know!”
The woman in green asked meaningfully.
Liu San instinctively looked up and met her eyes.
He felt as if the Big Leader’s gaze was like a sharp sword, piercing through him, reaching straight to his heart!
Liu San’s mind went blank, and he unconsciously said:
“I… I admire the things he has done… and want to help him as much as I can.”
After speaking, Liu San felt as though he had plunged into an ice pit, chilled from head to toe, convinced that he was doomed.
However, to his surprise, the Big Leader did not get angry. Instead, her gaze softened slightly:
“Give me the phone number.”
Liu San handed over a piece of paper with the number written on it, then respectfully excused himself.
After Liu San left, the woman in green walked to a wooden table in the corner with a rotary phone set on it, picked up the receiver, and dialed the number from the paper.
A few seconds later, the call connected.
The woman in green spoke first.
There was a momentary silence on the other end.
The woman in green’s tone turned cold, “Speak up, or I’m hanging up.”
“I am the Green-faced Ghost. Are you the Big Leader of Qingyuan Fist Village?”
A deep voice came from the other end.
“Liu San told me you want to discuss the life-and-death situation of Qingyuan Fist Village without even showing your face, just via phone. Don’t you find that funny?”
The woman in green asked coldly.
“Can’t help it, I’ve offended too many people, it’s not too convenient to show my face.”
“I’ll give you ten seconds. If what you want to talk about doesn’t interest me, we needn’t speak further.”
But the phone went silent again.
“You have seven seconds left.”
The woman in green frowned, getting impatient.
Suddenly, the person on the phone said a name.
The woman in green was taken aback, instinctively gripping the receiver tighter, yet her tone remained unaltered:
This time, the woman in green was finally unsettled, with a hint of murderous intent in her voice:
“Who exactly are you?!”
“I think we should meet in person.”
The woman in green scoffed, but then her expression turned cold, “Sure, where do you want to meet?”
“Let’s meet at Qingyuan Fist Village. I’ll come to you.”
This response took the woman in green completely by surprise. She laughed scornfully:
“This is getting more interesting. Fine, I’ll wait for you at the Fist Village.”
Having said this, she hung up the phone.
She called for a subordinate, “Issue the order, if the Green-faced Ghost enters the Fist Village later, bring him directly here to see me.”
