Jin dodged to the side, pulled out his photon blade, then nearly cut off the woman’s neck, but the speedster, who also had super strength, knocked him out of the way, flinging him into the air.
He stabilized by floating, using his magic. Since he equipped his suit with antigravity tech and a bunch of other tech that could simulate his magic, he didn’t have to worry about holding back and could actually fight for real.
He charged back in, missing the speedster, but his vision and senses kept up with the woman, tracking her movements when she tried to attack him again.
Jin turned his attention to the invisible woman, but just like he expected, the speedster came back, so he shifted his feet, turning around, and kneed her in the stomach with not only his strength, but also the speed of the woman.
It was safe to say that she was knocked out instantly.
"What the fuck?!" The invisible woman jumped back out of fear.
"Oh, no. Don’t leave, we’re just getting started!" Jin grabbed her with his mana, pulling her in close and cutting off her hands, then stabbed her in the belly. "You don’t fuck with me and get away with it."
Tossing the woman away, he went to help Yuria, who was having a difficult time fighting her opponents.
There was a woman who could create and turn any type of earth-based mineral into lava, and a woman who could become pure lightning.
"Stand down! You are attacking an Officer of the ACPD!" She demanded, but they didn’t listen.
"Heh, do you think we care about that?" The lightning woman blasted beams of electricity at her, forcing Yuria to teleport away.
She fired her gun at the lightning woman, but they did nothing since they were plasma bullets and the woman was in a plasma form.
"Better watch where you’re going!" The lava woman made a moat of lava that forced Yuria to teleport to a specific spot so she wouldn’t be burned alive.
"Dammit! I need to help Jin."
"What you need to do is pay attention!" A huge wave of lava nearly swallowed her alive, but Yuria teleported away in time.
However, she was blasted in the side with lightning before she could reassess the situation.
"Kill her." The lightning woman ordered. "We only need the boy."
The lava woman nodded and was about to bury Yuria in the hot liquid. But before it could touch her, the lava froze.
"What the fu—" An icicle was impaled in the lava woman’s right shoulder and left leg, dropping her to her knees. "Arghhhh!"
"Laviana!" The lightning woman looked around to see who did that, but a hand gripped her face, slamming her into the ground.
"Fucking amateurs." Jin stomped on the lightning woman’s head, cracking her skull as he walked over the lava woman.
"Laviana is a stupid name, almost as stupid as Carl." Right as he was about to cut off her head, a portal opened over his feet.
Jin started flying immediately, tracking the location of a skyscraper nearby, and flew toward it quickly.
"You won’t escape me this time!" Lightning crackled in his hands, and he chucked a lightning bolt toward the woman.
"What the fuck?! How can he do that?!" She jumped off the building, avoiding the large explosion that ensued and creating a portal for herself to land safely on the ground.
However, Jin was already there, and he grabbed the woman by the throat. But at the same time, the speedster woke up and ran at Jin, ramming her shoulder into his side.
Getting fed up, he shot a cable around her neck while he was getting knocked back, dragged the speedster with him, landed on his feet, the snapped her neck with the cable.
"Now that the speedster is out of the way, we can finally have our chat." Underneath his helmet was a sinister grin.
Behind Jin, a large wave of lava flowed toward him, but without looking, he blasted the woman in the chest, killing her instantly.
"Nice try, but you’ll have to do better than that. Hmm, well, maybe not since you’re dead now. Anyway, why were you following me? Are you a member of the Brotherhood? But that wouldn’t make sense because you’re a woman. Hmm, the Viper gang maybe?" Jin picked her up by the throat.
"Neither, but my boss wants to talk with you."
"Heh, yeah, no thanks. Tell her to fuck off."
"It’s a man."
"Wow, that’s surprising. So, who the fuck do you work for? I’m losing my patience, and you might end up like your friends soon." He squeezed her throat tighter.
"Argh! I-I’ll just t-take you to him!"
"Hm?"
Jin didn’t expect the woman to have another power, so before he could even realize he was being teleported, his body warped through spacetime, and he was in a brand new location.
The place was dark, but Jin could tell that he was inside a building. He quickly activated his distress signals from his suit just in case.
"Don’t bother, this place blocks all signals from entering this place." An altered voice appeared behind Jin.
He quickly turned around and put his palm in the face of the voice, but when he did, the lights turned on, and Jin was surrounded by hundreds of women with their powers activated and men in power kits.
The man chuckled. "No need for violence, I just want to talk."
"Really? Is that why all of them are prepared to attack me?" Jin sensed everyone’s energy. He could definitely take on all of them individually, but as a group, he didn’t know, and it would be stupid of him to try, especially when he’s not at his most powerful.
This didn’t even include the potential defenses the place had, like traps and other hidden security weapons.
So, Jin lowered his hand. "What do you want?"
"To talk, like I said previously." The man, who had on a mask, led Jin to an area where there were chairs to sit on.
"Why the mask?"
"Heh, I don’t think it will be smart of me to reveal my face to you."
Jin noticed that all of the people here had masks on as well. The only ones who didn’t were the women who attacked him and the portal woman.
"Fair enough." Kai took a seat.
"Listen, Kai. I see potential in you, and I want you to work with me."
"Work for the brotherhood gang? Pass."
"Oh, no. We’re not a part of the Brotherhood gang; we’re a part of something more, something greater."
"A cult?" Jin asked
"You can say that. But our aim is to make the world a better place. So, tell me, Jin, do you want to make the world a better place?"
