Yuan Xu strode towards Gu Shengyin and smoothly took the items from her hands.
“Come sit in my office for a while. Wait until I’m done with the work at hand, then we’ll go home together,” Yuan Xu said as he held Gu Shengyin’s hand and approached the reception.
“This Miss Cheng is my fiancée and shall be my future wife. When you see her in the future, let her pass without notification.”

They didn’t have to wait long. Soon, they saw Cheng Yiru and a man who looked to be in his thirties holding hands and walking out. They got into a car, and in the moment before the car window closed, Yuen Hang clearly saw the two kissing.
Yuan Xu observed his brother, noticing his heaving chest and bloodshot eyes, obviously greatly distressed.
He said nothing more, knowing that at times like these, it was best to let him cool off on his own.
“Do you want to go home with me, or?”
Yuen Hang closed his eyes, “Just take me back home, big brother.” He feared he might not be able to restrain himself from killing that woman now.
After arriving home, Yuen Hang locked himself in his room for three days. On the fourth day, he drove out alone.
Mother Yuen was somewhat worried and planned to have someone follow, but Yuan Xu stopped her.
“He’s grown up, Mom. You should trust that he can handle his own affairs.”
That evening, Yuen Hang returned, looking somewhat dispirited but with a hint of relief in his eyes.
