Twenty minutes later, the two returned to Shen Manor. Rong Qingqing handed the car keys back, once again greeted by the butler’s indescribable expression.
Guo Lan had been waiting since early morning. Seeing the two walk in, she quickly asked, "Why are you home so late today? Didn’t run into any trouble on the road, did you?"
"No, it was me finishing school late. I had cleaning duty today, so I stayed back to clean and got delayed."
As Shen Qiao spoke, she picked up the still sealed milk tea and started looking for Shen Jue, but ended up spotting a red invitation on the entrance table first.
Shen Qiao muttered "huh" and casually asked, "Whose invitation is this? Who’s getting married?"
"Rong Jiaojiao’s," Rong Qingqing chimed in. "The engagement party is tomorrow night."
Shen Qiao bit her lip, wanting to say she wouldn’t go, but then thought if she didn’t, her mother would have to go alone. So, she held back that thought.
"Is my brother still in his room?" Shen Qiao turned to ask Nanny Zhao.
Just as it happened, Shen Qiao had barely finished asking when Shen Jue emerged from the elevator.
Seeing him, Shen Qiao ran over and handed the milk tea to Shen Jue, "Sister Qingqing bought this for you, saying it’s a thank you for the one-yuan winter melon tea from last night."
Shen Jue glanced at the milk tea in Shen Qiao’s hand, then looked towards Rong Qingqing, finally saying, "I don’t want it."

"Not sure how long precisely, but it’s at least ten years," Nanny Zhao thought for a moment before adding,
"Probably around thirteen years. I remember Miss Qiaoqiao was quite young when Seventh Uncle arrived. Why are you suddenly interested in Seventh Uncle’s affairs?"
"Nothing, just curious," Rong Qingqing smiled and casually brushed off the topic.
Nanny Zhao still had work to do, so Rong Qingqing didn’t want to hold her up any longer and left.
While thinking about Seventh Uncle, she also pondered buying a car for herself tomorrow.
The car she drove out this afternoon was Shen Jue’s personal vehicle. The remaining cars weren’t off-limits,
but she was afraid of accidentally damaging them or something, which could be costly. It might be more comfortable to buy her own car.
Always borrowing cars wasn’t a solution.
The original owner had a car abroad, but spent so little time in the country each year. During visits back home, the Rong Family’s driver would fetch her, so she never bought a car domestically.

Rong Qingqing’s steps paused.
