Ten seconds after sending the text, Rong Qingqing called again, and this time Shen Qiao answered.

"Where are you?" Rong Qingqing asked directly.
Shen Qiao made a sound of surprise, then stammered, "Didn’t I say I’m at a classmate’s house?"
"You can fool your family with that, but not me. With your current situation, which classmate would invite you over? If any, it’s a trap." Rong Qingqing directly exposed Shen Qiao’s lie.

"Auntie, Nanny Zhao, I’m heading to the apartment to grab some stuff and won’t be back tonight." Rong Qingqing explained, "I borrowed the suitcase from Qiaoqiao, there’s not much stuff, this little case is just right."
No one came back to respond, so Rong Qingqing said it was an empty suitcase.
After notifying about her whereabouts, Rong Qingqing drove out.
Forty minutes later, near the city hospital, Rong Qingqing saw Shen Qiao sitting by the roadside, her arm wrapped in gauze, ointment on her face, looking forlorn with her backpack, occasionally looking around.
"You little dummy." Rong Qingqing parked the car in front of Shen Qiao and honked twice, "Get in."
Shen Qiao’s eyes lit up, she immediately stood up and got in the car.
"Sister Qingqing, sometimes you’re really nice, though your words are sharp and unlikable, but you’re nice." Shen Qiao smiled through her tears.
"Too late to butter me up now, isn’t it? I’m just going to dump you in the river later." Rong Qingqing glanced back at Shen Qiao in the rear seat, complimenting, "Well done, at least you knew to go to the hospital for bandaging."
"Of course, I’m afraid of scars, scars aren’t pretty." Shen Qiao wiped her tears proudly, "I’m better at fighting than them, I almost pulled their hair bald."
"Oh wow, so impressive. They can still go home and cry, but you’re stuck crying by the roadside, so proud of yourself." Rong Qingqing started the car, asking, "Wanna stay at the hotel or my apartment?"
