Eleanor Spencer secretly cursed Dovina for being so stupid. She hid her menacing expression and came out smiling to play peacemaker, "Yes, Dovina, did you see some report but are too embarrassed to talk about it in front of everyone?"
Dovina knew she had misspoken and felt regret. Hearing Eleanor Spencer’s words, she quickly caught on and said, "I just saw it too. I really didn’t expect it, sigh~."
Upon hearing this, everyone knew there was some inside story and perked up their ears to listen.
"It was a big exposé by a V-page big influencer. Inside..." She glanced at Aurelia Shaw, with a hint of inadvertent smugness in her eyes, "there were photos of Aurelia Shaw doing those kinds of things with a man. Everyone immediately took out their phones to search for the V-page account mentioned by Dovina, and soon, a sound of subdued gasps spread through the crowd.
Dovina secretly pulled a triumphant smile, but before it reached her eyes, a slap harshly struck her face, and Titan Jennings’ angry roar pounded down from above, "Look at what these photos are!"
Dovina’s ears rang and her vision blurred. Half her face was red and swollen. She noticed everyone’s expressions were odd. Why weren’t they taunting Aurelia Shaw instead? Why were they looking at her? Sensing something amiss, she stumbled to pick up the phone that had fallen to the ground, and trembling, opened the V-page. The sudden sight of lewd, chaotic photos caused her pupils to shrink and her eyes to widen in disbelief.
"Impossible!" The next second, a sharp voice suddenly sounded, panic-stricken and full of holes.
"These are fake, all fake!"
"It’s her! It must be her doing this! These photos were Photoshopped by her to frame me!"
Eleanor Spencer secretly gritted her teeth: What a fool!
Her fingers tightly clenched the phone, and on it was a naked photo of Dovina lying on top of a man!
A cold laugh spilled from Aurelia Shaw’s mouth.
Her gaze was icy and resilient, staring directly at the other party. Her slim, delicate figure leaned on a cane, yet like the pine trees of Changbai Mountain, she stood cold and upright.
"The one who claimed to have solid proof is you, the one who said the V-page influencer exposed my photos is also you, and now you’re saying I framed you? Or are you admitting that you fabricated the story about seeing my photos?"
"You say I framed you, but from my perspective, it seems more like you tried to frame me."
"You’re talking nonsense!" Dovina’s eyes were bloodshot and filled with veins, looking like a rabid dog about to lose its mind and go berserk, possibly attacking Aurelia Shaw at any moment to snap her slender neck. A nearby bespectacled and gentle-looking young man fixated warily on her to prevent any assault.
"Clearly, you’re the one framing and slandering me. Don’t think you can use a few Photoshopped pictures to incriminate me! You’re just a dirty woman who uses sleeping with men to climb up." Dovina hysterically shouted.
"Go ahead, tell us, which man did you sleep with this time to help you alter..."
Dovina was about to continue speaking when a massive slap came with a whoosh.
With a loud snap, she was smacked onto the ground, her head hit a rock, causing a messy wound, and blood, mixed with teeth, spurted from her mouth. Half of her face swelled up high, blood flowing down her forehead and, mixed with dirt, messed up half of her face in a utterly pathetic scene.
Aurelia Shaw didn’t expect Titan Jennings to be so brutal, slightly raised her eyebrows, squinted her peach blossom eyes, but didn’t voice any objection.
Titan Jennings’ anger drowned his rationale, his hand rising high once more. Dovina just wiped the blood from her eyes, and in her blurry vision, she saw Titan Jennings’ ferocious twisted face and the hand coming towards her again.
Thinking he was about to hit her once more, she hugged her head and screamed in terror.
But the anticipated slap didn’t fall.
A sharp pain struck her as something crashed down from above.
