Although she said that, amidst the hymns echoing through the entire church, Shu Wan still felt too embarrassed to continue with Fu Siyu.
She tugged on Fu Siyu’s sleeve. "Let’s go."
Sensing the slight movement on his sleeve, Fu Siyu glanced down and saw Shu Wan’s crystalline fingers resting on his arm, stirring something unconsciously within him.
He nodded, lifting his hand to encircle Shu Wan’s fingers. "Okay, let’s go."
They had entered through the east gate and after making a full circle, had to exit from the west gate, without bringing the umbrella they had used before.
At that moment, a heavy snow began to fall outside again. Shu Wan, wanting to look her best, had not worn a down jacket but a thick white coat instead, which now left her shivering in the chilly wind.
Shu Wan tried to pull her hand out from Fu Siyu’s palm to wrap her coat tighter around her, but Fu Siyu suddenly flipped open one side of the coat, enveloping her entirely in his embrace.
Even in this icy and snowy world, Fu Siyu’s embrace was extraordinarily warm, like a little furnace, irresistibly drawing one closer.
From both psychological and physical perspectives, Shu Wan did not mind this, but the unusual gazes of the people passing by the back door still made her feel a bit shy.
"You won’t be seen if you lower your head."
Fu Siyu’s voice sounded overhead, and Shu Wan slightly bowed her head, her face completely shielded by Fu Siyu’s coat, indeed blocking the view of the crowd.
Yet at the same time, Shu Wan’s face leaned against Fu Siyu’s chest, clearly hearing the thump, thump, thump of his heartbeat. Amidst the hubbub of the outside world, there was a feeling of forbiddenness.
Fortunately, the distance from the main entrance to the car was not far, and upon getting in the car, Shu Wan hastily retreated from Fu Siyu’s embrace.

Fu Siyu was driving and said nothing more, and after roughly half an hour, they arrived at the final destination of their trip.

Outside the house, various snowmen were piled up, their surfaces gleaming, like little dolls from a fairy tale.
The fairy tale house looked simple from the outside, but once inside, one discovered a decoration that was another world altogether.
Knowing that Shu Wan liked flowers, the entire room was filled with them, with a large glass window on the north side framing the beautiful scenery outside.
Sitting by the window, the world outside was icy and snowy, while inside, tea fragrance lingered, warm as spring.
Shu Wan took off her coat and sat on the couch, and Fu Siyu poured her a cup of tea before standing to the side.
Shu Wan was a little puzzled. "Why are you standing?"
Fu Siyu turned his head, a trace of a smile in his eyes. "I want to sit with you, but I’m worried you’ll mind, so I’m waiting for you to ask me proactively."
With Fu Siyu being so straightforward, how could Shu Wan possibly refuse?
She found that Fu Siyu had a good grasp of her personality.
"If you want to sit, just sit. I’m not stopping you."
Hearing Shu Wan say this, Fu Siyu smoothly took a seat next to her, extended his long arm, and drew Shu Wan into his embrace.
Although being so close to each other made Shu Wan feel a bit uncomfortable, perhaps because Fu Siyu’s attitude always seemed so sincere and cherished, she indulged his actions.

Shu Wan’s ears began to turn red. She coughed lightly and pointed outside with an air of composure. "Those snowmen are pretty."
"The one in the middle is the prettiest."
Shu Wan looked towards the middle, her ears deepening in color.
Because the snowman in the center was clearly made in her image, standing real and crystalline amidst the heavy snow, and beside her, another large snowman was made to look like Fu Siyu.
It seemed like they were discussing the snowmen, but both knew whom Fu Siyu was truly referring to.
Had they not been together all the time, Shu Wan would have wondered if someone had switched places with Fu Siyu.
The cold and proud Fu Siyu of the past now never ceased with his sweet nothings.
But in truth, Fu Siyu was speaking his heart.
People say that the body never lies. If you’re close to someone, if you like someone, you can’t help but want to be near her.
Fu Siyu was at that stage now.
In his eyes, everything about Shu Wan seemed incredibly cute, even the wispy hair falling beside her forehead looked fluffy and adorable.
