"Let’s get to the shore first." Xie Jingchen took a couple of deep breaths to steady the emotional turmoil in his chest and started rowing toward a direction, cradling her gently.
Both survivors of a recent ordeal, he now had only one thought: to embed the woman in his arms deeply into his very bones and calm the fervor in his bloodline.
Yan Jinsu nervously rested her small face against the nape of his neck, not daring to utter another word, simply settling quietly onto him.
