Yuan Xuejiao’s three roommates were all from the Foreign Languages Department, two English majors and one German major. Though they couldn’t quite match Yuan Xuejiao’s stunning beauty, they were definitively beauties in their own right, standing out in a crowd.
If Ren Feifan was to give them a score, these three roommates would probably be around 70 to 75 out of 100.
But all three had a grade boosting feature: their figure. Perhaps due to long periods of dance practice, their bodies were all proportionally in tune with each other.

After some introductions, Ren Feifan obtained a rough understanding of Yuan Xuejiao’s three roommates.
One of the girls was named Tang Xinling. She seemed to have a bit of a temper. For some reason, Ren Feifan noticed a hint of disdain in her eyes when she looked at him. However, she was quite friendly with Dan Yanlin, who was dressed in branded clothes. She would occasionally chat happily with him.
Another girl was named Jin Chengcheng. She was also from Lin City and seemed quite polite towards Ren Feifan. She must have been well brought up, hailing from a scholarly family.
The last one was named Lin Shuang. True to her name, she was very straightforward and had a tomboyish air about her. She was said to be from the Northeast.
Since all four of them were senior students, they were definitely more familiar with nearby eateries than the freshmen, so they graciously led the way.
The four girls walked ahead while Ren Feifan and others watched their retreating figures, swallowing hard.
Wang Qingquan was staring intently at Tang Xinling’s back. Among the four, her figure was on par with Yuan Xuejiao’s. After a long while, he quietly asked Ren Feifan, "Tell me honestly, what is your relationship with this Language Department goddess?"
Ren Feifan glanced at Wang Qingquan and replied once again, "We are simply junior and senior; how many times do I have to tell you?"
Wang Qingquan shook his head, "No, based on my years of experience in the love battlefield, your relationship is definitely not ordinary. Something must have happened between you two."
Before Ren Feifan could respond, Wang Qingquan continued, "As for being junior and senior, ha! I only kneel to you in acting. Do you really think she would openly wave at you in front of all these other male students if you were just her junior? Didn’t you see the howling hearts of those guys? Your appearance was simply their nightmare."
"Exactly, exactly. Master, you better pass some of your skills down to me soon," the team leader chimed in.
In this day and age, no one believes the truth. Ren Feifan could only smile wryly.
The street outside Jiangnan University was a foodie’s paradise, with delicacies from various regions available, enough to satisfy any student’s taste buds. Further inside from the food street was a stretch of restaurants of all grades, where the students of Jiangnan University would hold their annual gatherings.
The busiest times for the restaurants near Jiangnan University were the start and end of the semester. Among dozens of restaurants, the tastiest was Nanjiang Restaurant, a fact well known to every senior.

Ren Feifan, Yuan Xuejiao, and the others had just entered, only to find the place packed to the brim.
Feeling somewhat relieved, Yuan Xuejiao was glad she had booked a private room in advance; otherwise, they might not have a place to sit.
A middle-aged lady, still retaining her charm, was approaching them.
"Madam, your business is booming as usual. Looks like you’re going to have sore fingers from counting all the money tonight!" Yuan Xuejiao cheerfully said to the approaching lady. They seemed to be quite familiar with each other.
The lady, likely the restaurant’s proprietress, laughed and looked at Yuan Xuejiao and the others behind her. She said, "Oh Xuejiao, here for another feast today? I’ve reserved your usual room - ’Dream of Chang’an.’ Just order anything you want; there’s an eight percent off for you."
"Thank you, Aunt Hong. We’ll be heading upstairs. Could you please set up the Nanjiang grilled fish for eight people?"
After that, Yuan Xuejiao gestured to those behind her, saying, "Let’s go upstairs. I’m treating everyone today, so eat with no reservation."
Ren Feifan was about to decline, but Yuan Xuejiao got close to his ear and said, "Remember, I’m paying today, don’t steal my thunder. This way, you’ll have to treat me next time too. It’s a good excuse for more dates."

Nanjiang Restaurant had two floors. The lower floor was usually noisy and crowded, while the upper floor was designated for VIP rooms, which generally needed prior booking.

Passing through the corridor, the group of eight arrived at a room in the far corner. The name on the door read ’Dream of Chang’an’; Ren Feifan guessed it was probably the most expensive room in the area.
Yuan Xuejiao, while laughing and chatting with Ren Feifan, opened the door of the room. However, they found that there were already three men and a woman sitting there, chatting over tea.
Yuan Xuejiao was taken aback and retreated back to the door to look at the name again.
Something wasn’t right. This was indeed ’Dream of Chang’an.’
She had certainly reserved this room. So why were there already people sitting inside?
Aunt Hong knew her preferences pretty well and definitely wouldn’t make a mistake . Therefore, the only explanation must be that the people inside had mistaken the room.
Having figured this out, Yuan Xuejiao entered the room again and courteously asked, "Excuse me, I think there might have been a misunderstanding. I reserved this room named ’Dream of Chang’an’ beforehand. Could you have entered the wrong room?"
The entrance of Yuan Xuejiao made the four inside the room look up.

The young man, Sun Hongshan, was also one of the new students. He was the son of a wealthy family from a major city in Jiangnan. He and some buddies had arranged to eat here today with the plan to just grab a bite and then head out to the nightclubs of Jiangnan that night to hook up with some girls.
That would have made it a good day. But after he saw Yuan Xuejiao, he lost interest in the girls at the nightclubs. Suddenly, a strong impulse surged in his heart - he must make this girl his!
Yuan Xuejiao obviously felt the fervent gaze of the stranger and felt quite uncomfortable. Immediately, she coldly stated, "I had reserved this room."
One of the men by Sun Hongshan’s side frowned, responding, "Who the hell do you think you are? Can’t you see we’re already sitting here? How did it become your room?"
Sun Hongshan jumped in to calm the situation, "Liu, why so angry? It doesn’t matter. It’s not like we four can eat much anyway. Let the lady join us."
Master Liu’s eyes flickered. He deeply gauged Sun Hongshan, instantly understanding his intentions, and agreed with a smile, "Sure, sit down. Let’s make friends."
Yuan Xuejiao felt uneasy under their frivolous gazes. She said firmly, "That’s unnecessary. I’ll let the owner handle this."
