Wizard: Adventures in Two Worlds Chapter 152

Being friends with Adolf, Arthur was naturally also a Pharmacist, though he was more proficient in analysis and identification.

In the past half-month, Carl had attempted to concoct a Fury Potion using the blood of a water monkey. Theoretically, one water monkey could yield five portions, but due to his limited alchemy skills, he only managed to make one.

The initial reason for capturing three water monkeys was to have a backup plan.

"Fury Potion?" Arthur looked surprised. "This kind of thing rarely gets out; most of it is divided among the royalty, nobility, and the Church."

Instead of directly taking the porcelain bottle, he turned to retrieve an enchanted item similar to a microscope.

Then he opened the porcelain bottle and placed it under the 'microscope' to observe.

After a long while, Arthur's brow furrowed tightly. "Strange!" he muttered, then spoke hesitantly, "This isn't quite the same as the Fury Potion I've analyzed before, yet it seems to have some similarities."

"Strange... very strange..."

"Senior Arthur," Carl stood straight and asked, "can it be used?"

Of course, it was different.

His bottle of Fury Potion used water monkey blood, which was inherently different from the Church's formula.

The key was whether it had any effect!

He only had this one bottle of Fury Potion. If it was ineffective, he would have to wait several more months.

In a few months, the Chamber of Commerce would capture several live water monkeys.

"It should be usable," Arthur mused for a moment, then said, "Perhaps it's been sitting for too long. Its effect might not be as strong as the one from the Church, but it can be used."

"Carl... are you aspiring to become a Great Knight?"

"Yes." Carl nodded, suppressing the excitement in his heart, and replied, "My Wizard Talent is only level four. Even with my tutor's legacy, I fear I won't become an Advanced Wizard Apprentice."

"I'd rather pursue the Knight Path. Perhaps I could even touch the realm of a Legendary Knight."

"Heh..." Arthur chuckled and shook his head. "A Legendary Knight? For an ordinary person without any background, becoming a Legendary Knight is no less difficult than becoming an Official Wizard."

"But hard work is never a mistake."

"Also..." Carl took out two rings and placed Charles's sword on the table. "I plan to sell these items. Could you please appraise them, Senior? If the price is right, I'll sell them to the Alliance."

"Demonized Items!" Arthur's expression turned serious. "Three of them! Are you really willing to part with them?"

He wasn't surprised that Carl had so many Demonized Items; he guessed they were Adolf's legacy.

"Sigh." Carl sighed. "These items can't unleash their full potential in my hands, and holding onto them might attract unwanted attention."

"It's better to sell them for Magic Stones and peace of mind."

"Well, alright then." Arthur didn't try to persuade him further. After all, the items belonged to someone else, and how they were dealt with was their freedom; outsiders had no right to intervene.

"The Thorn Summoning Ring is somewhat damaged."

"The Circular Star Sword is also somewhat damaged..."

"This sword... it's infused with some kind of Magic Materials. If stimulated with spiritual power or Battle Aura, it can release flames."

After a careful appraisal, Arthur spoke, "Because the rings are severely damaged, the price won't be high. For both rings together, I can offer eighteen Magic Stones."

"This sword is very heavy, more suitable for a Knight. So, even though it's intact, the offer is only ten Magic Stones."

"That's a total of twenty-eight Magic Stones!" He looked up at Carl. "If you're willing to sell them to the Alliance, the fee for appraising the Fury Potion can be waived."

Twenty-eight Magic Stones?

"Sold!" Carl nodded emphatically, a hint of pain in his voice as he said, "Please exchange ten of those Magic Stones for Weir Potion."

He wasn't pained because the items sold cheaply. After all, he had used them frequently recently, pushing their limits, so their durability was already low. Selling them was just the way it was. What truly pained him was that the Weir Potion, which increased spiritual power, was so expensive. Even Advanced Wizard Apprentices would likely find it difficult to afford and use regularly.

Leveling up by consuming potions seemed rather difficult at the moment.

"Weir Potion?" Arthur chuckled. "It seems you haven't given up the path of a Wizard after all."

「Divine Domain Fragment.」

Carl held the Fury Potion, his expression stern. He tilted his head back and drank the Potion in one gulp.
