Wizard: Adventures in Two Worlds Chapter 264

In the depths of the Black Swamp.

The thick toxic miasma, viscous as liquid, now trembled violently with the roaring sound.

At the center, a towering tree shook wildly, each leaf resembling a hungry maw, devouring the surrounding toxic miasma.

As the toxic miasma dissipated, the once verdant tree turned dark and shadowy.

Second Circle Wizard – Life Sacrifice!

Adison, the Grey Robed Wizard holding the "Star Gate," wore a solemn expression as a profound wizardry from his Spiritual Inner Sea was activated.

The next moment, his body silently disintegrated, and the satiated giant tree behind him withered at a visible rate.

All the energy transformed into a pure life force, flooding into the damaged Witch Artifact.

The life of the Second Circle Wizard drove the "Star Gate" into operation.

Adison's soul controlled it, opening the gate to the Wizard World.

This meant that the Gando Kingdom's only Second Circle Wizard, Adison the Grey Robed Wizard, had died.

Perhaps fragments of his soul remained within the Star Gate, yet they could never escape, destined only to slowly fade away with the passage of time.

Marian staggered, tears welling in her eyes as she watched the man who had been by her side for decades disappear.

Such sorrow was hard to put into words.

But only for a moment. As if remembering something, a glint of light flashed in her eyes, and her sadness sharply diminished.

The others also wore complex expressions. Most of them were not close to Adison, but they could not help but admire his profound spirit.

He was willing to sacrifice himself to open the path to the Wizard World for others.

Truth be told, they did not think it was a smart choice, attributing it only to his profound spirit.

Suddenly, everything brightened. A blinding light flashed, gone in an instant.

A soft glow followed, emerging from the center of the Star Gate. It grew larger, eventually forming a massive sphere of light.

The sphere was approximately three meters in diameter, quietly floating in mid-air, with countless interconnected runes visible within.

"Star Gate?" someone murmured. "Is this the Star Gate?"

It was different from what they had imagined.

The opened Star Gate was not 'door'-shaped, but a sphere of light.

"That's right," someone nodded. "The so-called Star Gate is a channel opened by distorting space-time; it's supposed to be a three-dimensional shape."

A black dot emerged at the center of the Star Gate, moving as if with intelligence within.

Immediately after, a halo leaped from the Star Gate and landed in their midst.

Several Official Wizards stepped back in unison, casting spells to protect themselves, warily watching the halo.

Various offensive witchcraft spells were in a semi-activated state. Tʜe source of this ᴄontent ɪs novel✦fire.net

An invisible killing intent shrouded the halo, ready to unleash a barrage of attacks at the first sign of trouble.

"No need to be alarmed."

The halo shimmered, gradually solidifying, and finally morphed into an old man with white hair dressed in a strange Wizard Robe.

The old man looked at the group with a kind expression. "I am Mo Ni, a Three-Circle Wizard from White Teeth Castle, responsible for monitoring the spatial transmission fluctuations of the Kaliem Continent."

"It just so happens you opened a Star Gate..."

He turned his head to glance at the Star Gate behind him, his eyes showing confusion. "An ancient technique... where have I seen this Star Gate before?"

A Three-Circle Wizard? White Teeth Castle? Kaliem Continent?

The Official Wizards present exchanged glances, cautious yet curious in the face of the unexpected apparition.

They chose not to act hastily.

"A Three-Circle Wizard?" Marian was the first to speak. "Isn't this Star Gate only capable of one-way transmission?"

"Yes," Mo Ni nodded. "What you see now is just my Star Realm projection, so there's no need to be afraid. I can't pose a threat to you."

Star Realm projection? Three-rings Witchcraft! Is he really a Three-Circle Wizard?

The expressions of the Official Wizards present shifted, showing surprise, joy, and a touch of urgency.

"I remember now!" Mo Ni patted his forehead. "This Star Gate is identical to the one in the Magic Forest. It seems they are both relics from the past."

"Um... Senior," Marian asked cautiously, "do you come from the Wizard World?"

"Do you call the Kaliem Continent the Wizard World?" Mo Ni looked up at the stars. "Compared to this place, that name isn't bad."

"The Eastern Kingdom Continent has always been under the radiance of the Divine, indeed not suitable for a Wizard's practice."

"Is the Divine here still the Father of Heaven?"

The Father of Heaven?

The group looked at each other, perplexed.

"Senior," an old Wizard spoke, "hundreds of years ago, civil unrest erupted in the Ferro Empire. The authority of the Father of Heaven was divided among the Gods, and now we are in an era of warring Divines. The Flame Lord is currently planning to conquer nations to reclaim that authority."

"The Divine revered here is the Master of Dawn."

"The Master of Dawn?" Mo Ni stroked his beard gently. "That should be the authority over life and harvest. But it doesn't matter now; you probably don't wish to stay here anyway."

"So..." he asked curiously, "which twenty people are they?"

"Senior," Marian frowned, "what twenty people?"

"Your Star Gate can only transport twenty people at a time." Mo Ni pointed at the Star Gate. "Though this place isn't suitable for a Wizard's practice, I believe these twenty people must all possess exceptional talent for witchcraft. It's strange; the more meager the resources, the more likely it is for witchcraft geniuses to emerge."

His tone was enthusiastic. "Would you consider joining us at White Teeth Castle? White Teeth Castle has Five-Ring Wizards and several Exotic Realms under exploration, which would greatly benefit your future development."
